I used to only receive local news alerts, now I’ll wake up to 50-100 notifications from stuff in some rural town in a state two times zones away. This app was always my go to for local news, now there is no way I could recommend this to anyone. There’s also not an option to change the notifications for local news as of now. To me, this is encouraging protests and inciting protests that can lead to riots and criminal activities.
