When it shows rain, it almost never is actually raining. When it is actually raining, it doesn’t show it is. Perhaps it’s my area I live in? But dos anyone else experience this? Just how do any of them still have a job. The only news I know that can flat out be wrong. Claims Clear skies. You look outside pouring rain. Says the storms are gone. No they last 4 more hours. Previously, there was a ‘Past + Future’ option that would give almost up to the minute radar. Now it’s either 10 minutes in the past or 10 minutes in the future. With recent updates it’s harder to tell if I’m seeing current or future radar. If I add on storm tracks or alerts it’s a custom radar. I prefer the previous interface that used overlays instead. I just received three tornado watch notifications within one minute. No longer can you see warnings with the radar. You have to toggle back and forth between the two. It was much better the way it was before the most resent updates. I also really liked being able to see the weather radar on the traffic portion of the app. Not any more! If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it!! I would really like the option to go back to the app prior to this update. The ONLY thing that I would change, is putting the radar back to the way it was before the last update. Word of advice to developers: Changing the features that already work fine, does not make the app better. Stop changing things just to stay relevant. I really hope that no one got a pat on the back for this update. You watch the local weather forecast on tv and the two don’t make match. The forecast on either is not very reliable as it changes by the hour. you used to could set the layers on the radar screen and they would always be there. now you have to save a configuration but when you go to the radar it gives you a generic view so you have to go look for you saved configuration. Quit make changes to something that used to work fairly well but no longer does. The major storms that never happen, then s 10% chance of rain and it comes a storm. It’s incredible someone in charge of this still has a job. Tomorrow (6-14-26) it says there’s a 35% chance of rain, 40% in the day and 70% in the evening. Please explain how this adds up to a 35% chance overall. I miss plans constantly because of storm predictions and get rained on when it’s supposed to be dry. I believe it’s all for clicks. You can select “follow me” and get the weather and forecast wherever you are or set it to your hometown. I have locations set for my daughters’ towns and a few other locations we frequently check. It’s easy to switch between them. And it’s great to get the current weather and forecast for my location and not that of the nearest large city! When hail or other bad weather threatens I use this exclusively. It pinpoints areas being affected so accurately,to the block, and has saved my car from hail damage many times. I can just drive to a safer area. The tornado and hail overlays are a lifesaver. When you listen to live TV the weatherman can only talk about your area so much, but this gives me precise information to the block for my family’s safety and my home/car.
