A random pop up wants me to select something. ### 2/5 — Spam Included *2025-05-30* Opened Fox5 weather app and advertisement said I had virus after visiting porn site. I have never been on a porn site. Very poor attempt to try and purchase a cleaner when all I need is to check the weather. Also, it says 0 percent chance rain but click on that day and it said 90 percent early evening. Recently it will not track my location and does not announce severe weather warnings. I have never changed anything in the settings. What happened? ### 3/5 — Bad update *2024-12-30* Just did the 11/24 update. It made the app worse. Not sure what bug fixes you meant but please correct the app from switching screens when scrolling. I scroll to see the hourly on the home screen and it switches over to the hourly screen. I didn’t want it to do that. I scroll down, and when the screen stops it automatically jumps to a different screen. Sometimes it’s the hourly and sometimes it’s daily. Those options weren’t selected. ### 2/5 — Getting worse *2024-12-27* Since the last major update, this app thinks it knows better than I, what view I want to see. It automatically switches to daily view. If I want a daily view I will choose it myself. I don’t want an app the dictates which view I see. The app now is to touchy where you can’t scroll through the hour by hour feature without it opening up that section that you didn’t want to open. So I started using Fox’s app. I started noticing how contradictory it was in “guessing” the weather. It would use TWC predictions but change it slightly. The most irritating part of it was they’d say it’s raining when in fact it’d be sunny. And the highs for the days didn’t match the temps on hourly. It’s a garbage app that is unreliable. ### 2/5 — Can’t turn off overlays *2024-01-09* I’ve used this app for many years and been very happy. Recently, the overlay functions have been increased. My main purposes is to look at rain radar, but can’t view it because of all the overlays blocking the view. I Researched how to turn off the overlays but instruction don’t appear to work. However a recent update made the app unusable, where you cannot scroll or touch the app anywhere without it immediately selecting as if you tapped rather than scrolling. Went from one of the cleanest and simple to use app to an absolute headache to open for even the simplest check of current weather. This effectively makes the Radar screen unusable for me. Given that I live in the American South, and that yet another hurricane is imminent, promising still MORE flooding, if you want me to use your app, see your ads, etc., I urge you to correct this bug immediately. Until then, I’ll be using Brand X (an Atlanta-based competitor). Thanks in advance, RL, 10/1/24. EDITED TO ADD: Guys, I found where I had locked Radar to Future Only in Settings, and fixed.
