I used to love it and use it several times a day. Now there’s too many ads that get in your face right when you open it. Currently that ad is a picture of an elderly person that frankly is grotesque. Being old myself, I want to find another app just for that reason alone. Where did the past radar views go? I can’t find them and believe they are gone. It’s more informative to see the progression from the past and then look at the future. On the daily view, today opens up automatically when you go there, limiting the view of the rest of the week. Liked it before when all the days were closed and you could see the whole week and then pick the days of importance to view details. Sounds silly, but it’s really annoying when something works the way you want and expect, only to see it changed without warning just for the sake of change. I could go on, but it’s not that important. There are many other apps out there. I’ll just have to go find one that isn’t annoying….until they change it. Then I’ll move on again… ### 3/5 — OK *2024-09-23* It was great for a few years. Now it hangs up constantly particularly during the 24 hour radar loop. I have deleted it. ### 2/5 — Radar not useful *2024-08-07* I used to really like this app and find it to be the most correct source of weather information in my area, but lately the radar has been COMPLETELY inaccurate. It looks like what it’s showing is what was predicted at the beginning of the day, but not actually what is occurring at the time I check. I’m not sure what use of radar is if it’s not showing accurate information. I hate using the Apple Weather app, but it’s more accurate lately than this one. ### 3/5 — Issues w/v 5.4.940 that need to be addressed *2022-01-17, version 5.4.940* Don’t you hate when you update an app & the old version was MORE functional? Programmers need to take the watch/warning/advisory overlay OFF of the main map & go back to making that an OPTION you can add in the drop-down menu if you like. Why? Because the watch/warning-advisory overlays are COLOR CODED & interfere with other map functionalities like the 24hr snowfall overlay, which is ALSO color coded. Please fix this! ### 2/5 — Garbage *2020-08-07* Worked flawlessly until they put out an update. Radar is completely inaccurate. Shows area is experiencing rain and there is no rain. App notifications woke me with a jarring alert at 3 am for flash flood warning and minimal rain came. Flash flood alerts came every hour another time and there was zero rain that day. Forecasts are inaccurate. This app is now more of an annoyance than a help. ### 2/5 — App constantly freezes at home screen *2020-01-24* The app is great when it works constantly freezes on home screen and won’t load very unfortunate as this this best layout for local weather app without a bunch of distracting ads. Deleting and reinstalled three times with no fixing ### 3/5 — No More Updates Please *2019-07-31, version 4.8.904* Worked much better until latest update and redesign. . It wasn’t broken. Unreliable now. ### 3/5 — Not Buggy Dont Update *2019-06-16* This App ran great until I did the update with ‘bug fixes’ for crashes and load issues. What I didnt have before is now a problem. Crash after crash, Load issues, gps location are all problematic now. Lightning data works very rarely. Its really to bad there is not an ‘Undo Update’ option for All Apps. Ban the term ‘bug fixes’. ### 2/5 — The ads *2018-11-03* I have used this app for years. This latest app update has a few good changes such as better graphics for current conditions. Unfortunately the hourly forecast has ads in the middle of the hour temps - so distracting and annoying. I would pay to get rid of the ads but there is no option. ### 2/5 — Stop Messing With It *2018-05-16* I don’t want sleek or cool, just weather! Each time the app seems fine here comes another update with a wacky interface full of bugs. Just make the app simple. No need to watch clips, live weather, or what have you. Just let me see the week outlook, weather for the day, and approaching storms. That would be awesome. The last update is a failure, fix it to make the font a normal not squished size, then leave the app be. ### 1/5 — Uninstalled *2018-04-12, version 4.6.1400* Hate having to dig for info that used to be available the second the app is opened. Not sure what the reasoning behind adding all the swiping to find the info I need was. Very disappointing. I thought I could rely on it. The information is arranged to quickly and easily see temperatures hourly and daily without a lot of swiping as other apps require. HOWEVER, it is o longer reliable. Most of the time when I try to use it, the app is frozen. I’ve had none of the issues other people described. Maybe it’s because I’m on iPhone, but it’s the best weather app. ### 5/5 — Like it *2021-03-28* I like the alerts and especially like the radar because you can zoom in or zoom out and see what’s coming. I appreciate being able to go to the most recent weather broadcast from the channel as well as being able to go anywhere in the world on the radar. I’ve loved it but occasionally the radar blanks out but that was only recently perhaps the latest update will adjust that ### 5/5 — Needs More Weather Maps *2020-10-08* The app is great so far but it needs more weather maps. I would like to see the dew points and the water temperatures. I also would like to see Wind Gusts on the map. ### 5/5 — Best weather app ever *2019-01-12, version 4.7.901* I have gone through countless weather apps there are so many features with this weather app that are amazing. Being able to see the attributes of a storm is fantastic and potentially a lifesaver, not only does it and now it’s the severe weather via voice but it also shows above the screen fantastic weather app. The follow me feature is wonderful I never have to second-guess the weather ever again. We have some of the most amazing meteorologist in Washington DC in this app is a wonderful accoutrement to them. ### 5/5 — BEST WEATHER APP OUT THERE! *2018-12-31* This is BY FAR the best weather app on the market for the DMV area. I got really angry with my last weather app, and this app does it all as my replacement! I can look at my whole day’s outlook within seconds! LOVE LOVE LOVE! My other radar app was ruined in updates, this is the closest thing to what I like now. I don’t like being forced into watching loops at speed. I need to be able to move the sliders at my own pace!
