## What is Fox Hunt?

FoxHunt is the app CB and amateur radio clubs use to organize and play fox hunts (amateur radio direction finding). A "fox" hides with a transmitter; hunters track it down with directional antennas. FoxHunt takes care of everything else.

FOR CLUBS
• Create your group and invite members with a link or an invite code.
• Schedule events with a date, a meeting point and as many rounds as you like.
• Pick the fox for each round and start it with one tap.
• Push and email notifications when an event is created, when someone joins, and when a round ends.

DURING THE HUNT
• Automatic radio timer: 60 s talk, 3 min silence, 30 s short talk, looping, with audio alerts at 2 min, 1 min and 30 s.
• The fox sees every hunter on a live map and marks who found them, with elapsed time.
• Hunters see the timer, receive messages from the fox and, once they find it, get their official time.
• Background location sharing: your position keeps updating even with the screen locked.
• "Hide my location" option for hunters who prefer to stay off the map.
• Bluetooth S-Meter: show the signal strength from your compatible S-meter right inside the app.

AFTER THE HUNT
• Public event summary: best fox, fastest hunter, every round's results and the foxes' final positions on a map.
• GPS tracks: replay each participant's route with distance covered and average speed.
• Season standings: automatic points for the first hunters to find the fox and for foxes that stay hidden the longest.
• Round photos and a shareable summary image.

FoxHunt only uses your location during an active round, to show it to the fox and record your track. Sharing stops automatically when you are found or the round ends.

Good hunting, and 73!
