The weekday news seems to be updated each day, but on the weekends the “news” is old, repeat stories. The app does not follow the Apple OS assess ability settings, nor allow for a font size adjustment, making it difficult to read. The new update is no better. The news summary page of articles is small thumbnails and smaller print - negative improvement ### 2/5 — Why?? *2026-03-15, version 132.0.2* Nothing wrong with previous app as well as I have a notification that doesn’t clear after opening to see news stories ### 2/5 — Muting Content and Disabling Auto Play *2026-03-07* This new app does not allow the ability to mute the sound, nor is there a way to prevent auto play of the visits that run at the top of the article. I don’t want to open up a news story and have a video automatically start playing and have no way to mute the sound except for manually muting my entire phone. At this time I will keep the app on my phone to see if this changes. With that being said, the new app within two seconds of opening the app FORCES YOU TO TURN ON PERSONALIZED add😂 without any option other then “can be changed later “ ### 2/5 — I don't want games *2026-02-15* I hate it when you click on a story and a stupid promo comes up for a game. I just shut the app down and get my news elsewhere. I do come back a different day but usually only view 2 stories before the promo comes up and I shut it down again. This is the worst traffic app. All of your competitors have better traffic maps. When I use other media outlets, I usually end up watching/scrolling through their app. & watching their advertisements. Don’t think your advertisers would like that. I’ve tried everything that I know to do, but nothing has changed.
