## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.9 — 2026-10-26

• Make your author page public, and other members can find and save the recipes you wrote yourself. Any recipe can stay just for you.
• Choose a backdrop for your author page.
• See other authors' recipes when you search, in Cook from your fridge, and at the end of a recipe.
• See who saved and cooked your recipes, on Home and on the recipe.
• Share a diary entry along with your recipe, or show it only to the author of a recipe you saved.
• When you share your own recipe, its cover photo and your latest cooked photo go with it.
• Stop seeing someone's recipes, and report what shouldn't be there.
• Recipes are sorted into twelve kinds of dishes from around the world, each with its own sign.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-10-23

• See who made each recipe. Tap their name to see all their recipes.
• In Recipes, search @name to find just that person’s recipes.
• Add a short intro to recipes you write, and split ingredients into groups like “Main” and “Sauce”.
• Open the Fridge to see recipes you can make with ingredients that are about to expire, right at the top. Tap one to pick a day to cook it.
• Press and hold a recipe name to change it.
• Log a meal you cooked right from the Diary.
• Recipes with a timer running show it on their photo.
• On a phone, the screen only turns sideways on a recipe.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-10-21

New recipe has one link field and a paste button. A copied link goes into the field; copied recipe text is read right away.
Write a recipe from scratch: in New recipe, tap "Write a recipe" and type the name and ingredients line by line.
Editing opens as its own page. Long-press a row to drag it, swipe left to remove it. Type "tofu 1 block" and the amount goes in its own place.
A recipe in a video's pinned comment or caption can be added from screenshots.
Add items to your shopping list and fridge by hand — several at once, like "2 onions, milk". They join the same ingredient from your recipes.
Tips from the original recipe — storage, warnings, substitutes — now appear under the steps. Change or remove them in Edit.
Pages that gather many recipes are no longer mixed into one.
Ingredients and steps from blogs, video descriptions and Japanese and Spanish sites read more accurately. Step photos from blog posts appear on more steps.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-20

Follow short videos that show how to bring in recipes.
Send a video the app couldn't read to ChatGPT or Gemini and bring back its recipe.
Instagram videos kept on their own open in Instagram.
Hold a dotted cook day to see the other recipes planned for that day.
Turn off the guide shown before sending to ChatGPT with "Don't show again".
Ingredients and sauces from blogs and recipe sites read more accurately.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-17

Signed in, you can send a recipe to one person by link.
Foxpot now speaks Japanese, and imports Japanese recipe sites and Gemini chat links.
Pages that were hard to read now import more accurately.
Pick the day you'll cook it right on the recipe.
