Update to firmware version 1.07 initially failed and now the scheduler doesn’t work. Please do not get this EV charger even if you get it free. It’s run brainless idiots. ### 1/5 — Kein WLAN möglich *2025-08-01, version 2.00.05* Sobald man den Bluetooth-Bereich verlässt, meldet sich die App ab,- auch wenn man alle Einstellungen für das WLAN korrekt eingegeben hat. Unbrauchbarer Murks! ### 1/5 — Falsche Sprache *2024-04-11, version 1.0.1* Egal welchen Land man auswählt, bei der App für Apple wird alles in Chinesischen angezeigt. Ich kann meine Wallbox deswegen nicht einstellen. Ändert das Heute bitte um!!!!! Sonst tausche ich die komplette Wallbox um und kaufe eine andere Marke. Bitte sofort umstellen. Danke ### 1/5 — App Sprache *2024-03-29, version 0.0.1* Die App wird leider nicht in der angegebenen Sprache installiert. Sprache ist Chinesisch und nicht Englisch. Was die Bedienung recht schwierig gestaltet. ### 2/5 — Time zone for Europe/UK causing scheduling conflicts/problems *2026-05-22, version 2.00.11* We have just installed your FoxESS EV charger. While the charger works as it should both the FoxSwitch and FoxCloud I have tried and tested to charge our new Audi Q4 does not manage time to charge and end charge that should allow us to recharge after midnight to take advantage of special overnight cheap EV charging rates. As it now stands it has cost me almost 5 times my special overnight tariff. The issues are that when setting the apps up you come to time zone. Both apps force you to choose only 1 setting ie Europe/London! This is Wrong! There is an hours difference between European time and London time. Due to this despite trying to fudge the time the apps forces the timer to default to European time not London time which means I’m paying the non special overnight cheap tariffs. This needs addressing ASAP! ### 4/5 — Updaten *2026-06-02, version 2.00.11* Wenn e auto geladen wird un das smartphone in standby geht und wieder app öffnet muss mann wieder verbinden. Aber e auto lädt weiter. Lan Verbindung sehr gut und stabil. I find the app works great every time and it is so intuitive to use. I have a 16 panel solar array with a Fox ESS battery pack. I haven’t paid a penny to Octopus since 2024. This switch app gives me access to extensive charging records which I use to monitor the ridiculously low running costs of my MG HS PHEV 2025. To run a standard ICE car at the same cost as running my MG I would need to achieve 98mpg. It would be even higher but for the fact I have recently made more long journeys running the car in MHEV mode rather than EV mode.
