## What is Foyer Call Screener?

Foyer is a calm front desk for your phone.

When a number you don't know calls, Foyer answers for you. It asks who's calling and what it's about, then lets you know while the caller is still on the line, so you can pick up, send them to voicemail, or let it go. The people in your contacts ring straight through.

What Foyer does
• Answers unfamiliar callers and asks who they are and why they're calling.
• Shows you the caller's name and reason while the call is live, so you can pick up.
• Takes a message when you're busy, with a transcript you can read in seconds.
• Keeps a clear call log: who called, what they wanted, and what happened.
• Recognizes your contacts, so the people you know reach you directly.
• Lets you choose your host's voice, your screening preferences and where your calls ring.
• Works with the number you already have, through your carrier's call forwarding.

Getting started
To create an account you need an invite code from a Foyer member, or an approved early-access request from hifoyer.com. Setup uses your carrier's call forwarding; availability and any carrier charges depend on your carrier.

Free to start, then a plan
Every new Foyer account starts with one month free, or two months if you join with an invite code. You don't need to enter payment details to start, and there is no App Store free trial. When your free time ends, Foyer gives you a few days' notice, then stops screening: your calls ring straight through to you until you choose a plan.

Plans are monthly, auto-renewing subscriptions:
• Doorman, $4.99 a month: connect up to two phone numbers, use Foyer’s standard greeting, and keep recordings for 30 days.
• Concierge, $9.99 a month: connect up to twelve phone numbers, set custom greetings for your account or individual numbers, and keep recordings for twelve months.

Both plans include personalized screening that learns your preferences, voicemail, call summaries, email summaries and transcripts, and saved transcripts with no time-based expiry.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm your purchase. A subscription renews automatically each month at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Prices are in US dollars.

Foyer uses AI to answer and screen your calls. Callers are told that the call is recorded, and you can review what was said.

Foyer is not an emergency service. Screening decisions can be mistaken, and you stay in control of your calls.
