Keep in mind the app is free but you need to own either the wooden board or the mat they created recently. The wooden board is a much better way to play but more expensive. Game is shuffleboard where your flicking discs from one side to another 1v1, but with American football rules. This app adds the finish touch to make this game fun by added sound effects, and keeping scores etc. a very unique board game experience. Can’t believe it took me this long to find this game, and i will be doing a video review in a week or two to let people know about this game on YouTube. UrGamingTechie if you want to see gameplay and my thoughts. Only thing that can make the app better is allow local tournaments. I’d love to setup an 8 personal tournament in the house with the app that keeps a bracket of who wins and advances etc, that be a great addition. Great work on the team on this one. ### 5/5 — Endless Fun with the Kids *2022-03-30, version 1.1.3* The Electric Vibrating Football games were fun and I’m old enough to have played them. This is so much better. The Fozzy Football game has been a great source of fun and learning for our whole family. The older kids who know how to play football have Knock Down/Drag Out games. And the younger ones are Learning about how the game is played from a run/pass/kick decision standpoint. The games are timed (use this App) and only take 15 minutes to play. So they are usually pretty quick. My little guy and I play 1 game before he goes to bed on school nights and it’s now part of his bedtime routine. The game board you play on is made with good quality materials and using the “defenders” definitely makes playing Much More Challenging. I’m recommending this to any football lover I know. Tons of Fun and a Welcome change of pace from all the Screen Time games to this Board Game. This will probably be the only one I ever write, but this game and the app demand that I do. This is the most simple, easy, well thought out, addictive game I have ever played. I received it for Christmas, and my family and I played continuously for 10 hours until 4 am the next morning. My only suggestion would be the ability to include a halftime break, and select game/half length. I think when you’re playing with the play clock, having a halftime and second half possession change would add an additional strategy and game clock management element that would be fun. This game had us hooked midway through the first game we played. My 10 year old son was beating me pretty good 23-3 with 2:00 minutes remaining. I ended up scoring a game tying touchdown hanger as time expired and the laughter and emotion that created was priceless! If you like paper football then you will LOVE this game. Im surprised this game hasn’t been created already! I hope there will be bigger versions available in the near future I would hands down buy another to have for the man cave! The creator of the game is very customer friendly and made it a very pleasant buying experience. It seems so natural, like something that should be more popular than Monopoly. I mean, for God’s sake, it’s football! And I really mean it is literally football. It plays just like a real game of football - it has run plays, pass plays, long scoring drives, the ability to break one loose for a TD, a scoreboard and an announcer that totally adds to the feel. At first, I was a bit reluctant because it costs $195. But let me tell you, this is the best $195 we’ve spent in a long time! Our family totally loves it. We used to play games every weekend and we would mix up the games we would play and let everyone pick their favorites. For the last 3 weeks, we’ve almost exclusively played Fozzy Football because no one wants to play anything else. Besides my family loving it, 3 of our friends have already bought one because they fell in love while playing at our house and they wanted one for themselves. If you are hesitant because of the price tag, take the leap. You will definitely get your money’s worth. I’ve got a closet full of games easily worth over $300 that are just collecting dust. We are definitely on pace to wear Fozzy Football out - it’s that good! ### 5/5 — Fozzy Football is a Blast! *2020-09-15, version 1.0* This game can seem confusing at first, but after a couple of drives my friends and I realized Fozzy Football is simple! Yesterday I ordered the $99 version ($108.11 after tax), but later found out that after every 20 games you need to spray it with their silicon spray so the vinyl mat retains its slickness. I later found out that my version does not include the defenders. Ingenious idea but very pricey with very hazy longevity especially if their business model is for you to replace the mat every one to two years. ### 5/5 — Greatest Tabletop Game For Football Fans *2022-12-20, version 1.2.0* This is the single greatest Tabletop Football Game ever made. It’s easy to play, yet still challenging, it feels like playing football. And this app is stupidly easy to use. The games are perfect in length as well. Way more fun than Madden ever was. I’ve wanted a table shuffleboard for years, but the cost and space requirement have been prohibitive. This is even better. It’s portable, and the football theme makes it next level. Offense, defense, strategy, clock management…..so much more exciting than just sliding a puck for points. The other great feature is that the mechanics make it easy for the game to be handicapped for varying skill levels. Games between my kids, wife, and father-in-law have all been equally close and exciting. I had never seen it before. It looked complicated but it’s awesome how the app guides you through everything. There’s also a Facebook page that has a bunch of house rules and other suggestions that add some cool features to the game like onside kicks and punt returns.
