## What is Fractarium?

Watch mathematics turn into art. Fractarium draws seventeen fractals right in front of you – stroke by stroke or level by level – and lets you shape them while they grow.

SEVENTEEN FRACTALS
Eagle Fractal, Fractal Tree, Pythagoras Tree, Barnsley Fern, Lindenmayer Plant, Apollonian Gasket, Koch Snowflake, Sierpinski Triangle, Sierpinski Arrowhead, Hilbert Curve, Peano Curve, Dragon Curve, Lévy C Curve and Gosper Curve – plus the Mandelbrot Set, the Julia Set and the Burning Ship, computed pixel by pixel.

SHAPE THEM LIVE
• Change depth, angle, scale and line width while the fractal draws
• Scrub through the timeline to follow every step
• Pinch to zoom and drag to explore – up to 200,000× deep into the Mandelbrot Set, the Julia Set and the Burning Ship
• Press and hold a point of the Mandelbrot Set to open the Julia Set for exactly that point
• Choose the speed and watch stroke by stroke or level by level

YOUR LOOK
• Three stages: Plain, Aura with glowing lines and a fresh ember glow, or Glass over shimmering gradients
• Color by depth, as a gradient or in mono, with four accent colors
• Nature mode lets trees, ferns and plants grow in greens and browns
• Dark and light appearance

KEEP WHAT YOU MAKE
Save an image in up to three times the screen resolution – with a transparent background if you like, or as a wallpaper that fits your screen exactly –, render a video of the fractal taking shape, or export the line fractals as vector graphics (SVG).

EXHIBITION
A full-screen show without controls: curated fractals take shape one after another while the screen stays on – for projectors, shop windows and classrooms. Schools and organizations can preconfigure it through MDM.

IPHONE AND IPAD
Made for iPhone and iPad: on a large screen the controls sit beside the picture, and Fractarium follows along when you rotate, resize a window or unfold iPhone Duo.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking. Fractarium collects no data and works completely offline.

Available in English, German and Norwegian.
