## What is Fractio?

Fractio is a calculator for people that deal with plans, patterns, models, recipes, etc. In addition to plain numbers using either decimal or fractional notation, it can calculate linear measurements, areas, volumes, and weights, all in a variety of units including US and metric units. It includes easy conversion between the supported measurement units. 

Fractio displays numbers in "natural" format (not scientific notation), and is intended to calculate numbers that people use commonly. It includes memory, rounding, percentage, square/square root, trig, and log functions.

Great simple calculator like the one that comes with the iPhone except this does feet and inches very easily. I put 4 stars because you can not easily input " 6'-0 1/2" ". Hope they fix that.

I was building a small deck and wanted to find out how much lumber to buy. With just a bit if instruction on the calculator, it was easy, so little leftover waste. 

It helped me find out how much fill-dirt (volume) I needed for a hole. 

Once you understand the functions, the app is easy to use, convenient and user friendly.
