Sometimes just playing around in this App, ‘something’ in an image, triggers an experience 🤔. Good thing.😀 i don’t know (or care) what the previous post (the cat karen🥸),’problems’ are. But delete👎🏾 (imho) that post. Negativity😾 drips from what turns out to be a good👍🏻👍👍🏽 App. ### 2/5 — Nice, but .... *2019-08-02* Limit zoom, no display of coordinates or Zoom factor, little control of color pallet, landscape mode only, controls are difficult to see. ### 1/5 — Low resolution *2018-12-10, version 1.0.2* I can't really view anything important, since it gets to be really low resolution at high zoom. Recalculate the fractal, come on! ### 4/5 — Portrait mode is NOT standard *2018-11-27* Donlively said this “forces ... into landscape”, stating it couldn’t be used in “standard” mode, ie portrait. I don’t see a problem reorienting to portrait mode to use this- its default landscape orients my phone upside down, to my preference so I reorient anyway. Viewing either mode as standard ignores the reality that using either mode consistently can result in real injury. I have bone spurs on my left thumb (real ones) and undx injury to my right wrist that get worse when forced to use only portrait mode. Devs should be aware of this; we’ve been through epidemics of injury caused by poor tech design and people suffer (not as badly as Tyson chicken processors). I use external keyboards for my phone- yes, iPad keyboards work even if the phone is too small for the case- and it helps but we need more conscious design. Fractals: In elementary school I wasn’t taught to see a subject and draw; instead I was told “this is how you draw a cat, a chair, a tree... ”. Dumb thing to do; I finally learned to see/draw as an adult. I was “taught” to draw trees as fractals- all well and good if you want to draw a tree as a fractal but not any real tree. Fractals may come into play on a cellular level of a tree but not so much on the gross visual level. ### 2/5 — Limited zoom *2018-11-27* One should be able to continue to resume with full details. With this app once you zoomed all the way in the gets very pixelated and you can zoom no further. ### 1/5 — Not worth 99cents USA *2018-08-20* This is limited entertaining and learning. First, it forces the user to landscape mode. Why? It serves no good purpose what could not be accomplished in standard display. Second, though the title of the app states its purpose the immersion is limited: start, stop, pinch, start, stop .... One really has little control of what is generated and no options I could find at the time of my using to manipulate the generation.
