This game is really good, but in the right side of the library section (1st part, where it isn’t horror), if you open up some of the cabinets, you’re able to find a secret note. Sorry to spoil it, but it says, “One girl symbolises fear, and the other anger.” This contributes to the storyline a lot since there are actually two ghost girls. The first one you see is a short-haired girl. Once you get the key from the first quiz and are heading to unlock the door, there’s a corner you have to turn. The girl is peeking out from that corner, but when you get close enough, she disappears. This girl probably represents fear, and her name is potentially Misaki. How do I know that? In the second quiz—the paper quiz—the first note on the board says, “In the darkest corner, two desks rest like sisters. One whispering the name Misaki, and the other holding the echo of Emi.” Emi, I believe, is the angry one. There’s a lot to unpack, so please be patient. It’s a bold decision to just assume those are their names, but they do look related. I swear the second girl—the one with longer hair—presents anger. Misaki, the short-haired one, has black hair, and so does her sister. The only real difference is the hair length. There’s another detail in the note that might indicate their distinct personalities. Just to break it down: • Whispers = Misaki (whispers = fear) • Echoes = Emi (echoes = shouting = anger) It’s already been somewhat confirmed, but another thing I want to note is: who wrote the notes? If there are two different ghost girls, that means some notes are probably written by one, and others by the other. Some notes are more aggressive, like “I’m watching you,” while others feel more like a warning than a threat—like “She is here.” You can probably tell who wrote which note based on the tone. Then there are notes like “I’ve seen the both of them, and I wish I hadn’t,” which clearly aren’t written by either of the dead girls. The same person probably wrote the Easter egg note “One girl symbolises fear, and the other anger,” because it would be unlikely for one of the ghost girls to write that about themselves. And where you find the Easter egg note—it’s in the same section where a girl is curled up in a ball in the first horror part—adds to my theory. Now, back to the two girls. By the end of the game, the girl who was supposed to be shy or fearful actually chases you. However, I don’t think she’s chasing you because she wants to hurt you. If she catches up to you, she jumpscares you and you restart—but I think that’s just how the horror game is designed. In the bigger picture, I think she’s trying to tell you something, or maybe running from something herself. But more likely, she’s trying to tell you something. After you manage to shut the doors on her, you go down a staircase—and that’s when the angry girl appears, and the game ends. The fact that the fearful girl was chasing you right before the angry one shows up just backs up my theory. I think there will be more to this game, or at least I hope so. I want to see the plot continue, because it clearly isn’t finished yet. At the very end, a message appears on the screen that says something along the lines of, “Is this where the nightmare ends… or is it just beginning?” That might be a hint that there’s more to come.
