The game is cool and visually pleasing. ### 4/5 — Rating based mainly on graphics styleand nice “dissolving interference” gameplay concept. *2021-03-15* I have recently been working on designing games that have a positive premise based in TRUTH and LOVE rather than the annoyingly too standard battle games. So saw this today and basically said: WOW, looks like a similar genre of app concept! I also have dabbled in making psytrance and like some of the Tas vj visuals, so it’s a nice combo. The reason it is 4 stars (for now) instead of 5 is because: 1: Realized it’s too similar to some of occasional past experiences in this World that I don’t EVER want to generate again. So it felt really foolish to play. How to open “relaxation mode”? That wasn’t easy to find in that app. 2. Recommend redesigning that standard video game concept of how things touching the ship lowers the ship lives or whatever. 3. THE ACTUAL VAJRA IS INVINCIBLE. So not a wise idea to call something VAJRA unless it is INVINCIBLE. All that said, seemingly was designed as a very nice (and MUCH better) alternative to standard shooter games of that style. Thanks for supplying a nice model describing some past experiences! Anyway, if it was made in Unity, I can collab on porting it to oculus quest platform, if interested. Can adjust those gameplay and naming issues. ### 5/5 — Jesus Christ... *2021-02-09, version 1.1* I’ve always wanted to find a good, fun, and cool looking mobile game. This is it. Stunning visuals and music. Amazing game play. First 5 minutes and I’m hooked. Often times it will not work, it’ll show the cover art but never plays. Your own comfort-seeking brain is gonna fight you every step of the way, and your hobbies and comfortable “truths” are always gonna win out. But, the more you come to understand the game, the further you’re going to get. This is Frakktus, and this is also the real world. 10/10 for choosing a meta narrative and executing it with style. Probably designed by a music producer with 0 game design experience. You can’t just put together some pretty effects, cool sound tracks, irrelevant quotes and call it a game ok? ### 1/5 — Ad wall glitch *2019-12-03, version 1.0* Giving this a one star for pretty much the advertising. Played the tutorial ad pops up and then I have to force close the game cause the ad will not go away after hitting the x in the top right corner. ### 2/5 — I want to give it five and would…but *2023-07-16* I can’t restore my purchases. I deleted the game because the game with crash every single time I would finish playing which meant I would not get my mantras or cores, kind of defeats the purpose if you’re not able to unlock everything and never get your score afterwards… I would give it a three just for that but then I tried to restore my purchases after reinstalling the game not only did I lose all my progress, but come to find out I cannot restore my purchases, which means I have to deal with ads. When I paid to have them removed. I wish the dev still cared about their game. I’m not going to insult them there because I love this game and I think its great if you can deal with a mega challenge visually it’s amazing the music is awesome, it would even let you play with your own music… I hate to see this game dying ### 2/5 — Dislike tracking ads *2021-01-03, version 1.1* I would like to try to game without targeted ads although I like the app being upfront about this ### 2/5 — It’s unplayable for some reason *2020-08-12, version 1.1* So when I start up the game one of two things happen, I either get just symbol of the eye then the game crashes or I get a purple screen and it just stays like that I would love to try it but it keeps crashing or stay frozen on the purple screen. ### 2/5 — Needs alot of work *2020-04-02, version 1.0* This game artistically is amazing. The neon, the color choices, the weird statements and menu system, are all eye catching and unique. The same cant be said about the mechanics of the game and several glaring issues. Firstly the game presents itself as a sort of bullet hell with musical/rhythm gameplay, yeah thats not what the app is. The gist of it is you flying in the circle and you win, that’s it. Other issues: -No Pause button. -No music for ios even if you dont use apple music. -Ads are horrendous. -Your ship sometimes does no damage. -Enemies are fixed and dont come in waves and some dont attack so you just wait till you damage them enough. -The music in the app is, strange and mediocre and does not fit the aesthetic. -It comes off as incoherent and the concept, ideas, style, gameplay and sound are not cohesive. tl;dr It’s a strange, yet boring. Will update if the developers fix it. ### 2/5 — Nice to look at, and nothing else *2019-12-15* The art is great and the sound too, but the gameplay is so horrendously boring and uninteresting... Awesome game!!! *2022-12-28* This game is addictive and fun! For me it’s not just a game, it’s a meditative exercise. The metaphor behind this game is to find your truth and free your mind, at least that’s what I get out of it. The gameplay is intense the farther you go into! The graphics are stellar! Just one tiny problem: this started to happen every time , especially when reaching high levels…. after losing lives and the graphics fade out for the next scene, the game freezes, in the middle of the transition. You lose all the mantras and cores you collected during that game session , and then I have to restart my iPad and play again from where I started the last time. It’s been happening every time now, and it’s annoying because I’ve reached rank 5 and want to unlock the mental blocks but all of my cores get lost in the middle of that glitch. Does anyone else have this issue? Please fix. As far as the game , I’m super impressed, super entertained, and super in love with this cool, fun way to kill time! Will there be any new updates? The music is entrancing and the visuals are hypnotizing. You earn currency to spend on either palettes or enemies. It doesn’t have a tutorial for everything and took me until rank 2 to finally see where I can track that progress.
