### 2/5 — Missing matte

*2026-06-10*

This app is great, BUT…is there any way to add a matte to the art ? That would make it perfect.

### 2/5 — Worked at first then stopped sending art and photos to tv

*2026-03-20, version 12.0.32*

Worked at first then stopped sending art and photos to tv

### 3/5 — Nicely designed app

*2026-01-16, version 12.0.30*

However, the Send to TV feature is not working for me, even though my Frame TV is found and connected.

### 3/5 — Peu d'infos

*2026-01-01*

Très peu d'infos sur les œuvres, systèmes de recherche archaïque... La plupart des images sont en basse définition, c'est décevant.
Mais c'est gratuit et certaines oeuvres sont en 4k.

### 3/5 — Art from curations doesn’t work

*2025-12-16, version 12.0.25*

I can upload my own pictures but when I try to download from any of the public collections I get a spinning wheel and have to force quite the app.

I do like this app a lot! But that’s the reason I use it and it’s been broken for a while now.

### 5/5 — L’application qu’aurait dû sortir Samsung

*2025-11-15*

### 4/5 — So much easier to use!

*2025-11-08, version 12.0.23*

I do wish I could set multi image matted pics like I can in smart things app currently though!

### 5/5 — Great

*2025-11-08, version 12.0.23*

Made the frustrating super easy! Great app and worth the money! Thanks

### 5/5 — Great art options and easy to use

*2025-10-22, version 12.0.23*

Super simple to set up and a great selection of art. Great value!

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2025-10-17*

Love that someone took the time make this app and charge a nominal fee as opposed to a gouging subscription. Well done.

### 3/5 — Still a little inconsistent

*2025-10-11, version 12.0.23*

The art is great and it’s nice to upload your own photos. I have two frame TVs and it’s pretty frustrating as it’s very inconsistent connecting to the one I select. Also, if you try to upload five or more files at once many times it just quits. I’m sure we’ll get better over time.

### 5/5 — Must have for frame tv owners

*2025-10-10, version 12.0.23*

Just makes it simple. The one time cost is superior to the frame art subscription.

### 5/5 — LOVE this app

*2025-10-04, version 12.0.23*

Displaying art on my Frame tv is great. Paying Samsung a monthly fee is not. I’ve done manual workarounds to get free art on my Frame, so completely free is possible, but it’s a lot of work. This app is so amazingly easy to use. It cost $7.99 and was worth every penny!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2025-09-19*

Just get it. Absolute game changer.

### 4/5 — Great Idea But Could Improve

*2025-09-16, version 12.0.22*

Great app and love the ability to easily find art for the frame. A few areas make it work good not great. Smithsonian searches often bring up zero results when searching very common and straightforward key words. When looking at the Popular tab and then Latest, this option often fails to bring in results. I’ve also experienced some app crashing.

All in all a great app idea, I just wish it operated a little better.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Does not work as advertised

*2026-06-13, version 12.0.37*

This app does not work as advertised, does not connect to the TV and I have spent hours on this. Send a refund.

### 1/5 — Not working!

*2026-05-05, version 12.0.36*

Very disappointed I had high hopes that this would work but unfortunately it does not get the pics on to the frame TV.

### 1/5 — Can’t find your frame TV

*2025-12-25, version 12.0.26*

Will not connect to your frame TV at all, I tried try in IP ADDRESS. Still not working

### 1/5 — Lame art

*2025-10-11, version 12.0.23*

Old ugly paintings mostly

### 1/5 — Miro art - pathetic quality

*2025-09-24, version 12.0.23*

Terrible quality!

### 1/5 — Still depends on SmartThings

*2025-07-09, version 12.0.18*

This App uses the Samsung SmartThings App to upload images to your Frame TV. And for me at least SmartThings is a completely hopeless App and only lets me upload images to my TV about once in every 10 attempts. So this App is no use.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2025-03-07, version 12.0.13*

Everything this app does can be done with the crop tool in the photos app. Do not waste your money. I thought this app would stretch my artwork to fit my vertical Samsung frame tv but it just cuts the sides off to fit.

### 1/5 — Very difficult to use

*2025-02-02, version 12.0.11*

It's just so impossible. Forget about loading art on a reasonable amount of time.

### 1/5 — Waste of $$

*2025-01-09, version 12.0.10*

Just a conduit for Wiki Common

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work?!

*2024-12-02, version 12.0.9*

Super glitchy- and there’s no save button for me to actually save images to my frame tv… maybe I’m using it wrong??

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-07-05, version 12.0.39*

Does what it says it does, and does it well. Thank you!

### 5/5 — A must have app for Frame TV

*2026-06-22, version 12.0.37*

This is a must have app for Frame TV. If you like to choose your own artwork from public domain sources and have an easy way to manage artwork for Frame TV, this is the one. Samsung wants to sell their subscription service, so the SmartThings app does not have any workable art management capability.

There is a macOS version for this as well and I use both.

### 5/5 — Essential tool for The Frame

*2026-06-10*

Absolute value add for The Frame. This brings a level of sophistication and ease to setting Art that just isn’t there in the existing tools. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Art for the People

*2026-02-20*

Sure I could technically go find that free art myself, download it myself, crop it myself, and then send it to the TV myself. But this makes it like 100 times easier. Totally worth the $10

### 5/5 — Don’t think just get it

*2026-01-22, version 12.0.31*

This app makes the tv into the thing you purchased it to be

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-01-05*

Works flawlessly and superb collections of art! Would 100% recommend!

### 5/5 — A Must have for any owners of The Frame TV

*2025-12-23, version 12.0.26*

This app works perfectly and as intended. Setup was a breeze, and I was able to create and save a dozen paintings for use on my The Frame TV within minutes. Do yourself a favor and get this app for a constant stream of new art to put on your TV.

### 5/5 — Can’t believe how well this works.

*2025-12-20, version 12.0.25*

This is so much better than paying the ridiculous subscription to Samsung. Honestly, I was expecting this app to be janky, but it works really well and is super easy to use. Nice work!

### 5/5 — Incredible app. Buy this instead of Samsung subscription

*2025-12-06*

Excellent app. Easy access to the main free art archives and ability to crop. Also has pre-cropped Free art. You can direct upload to
The tv so you don’t have to deal w usb sticks.

Worth every penny.

### 5/5 — Great App Worth the Price

*2025-11-17, version 12.0.25*

Great app design, intuitive, easy-to-use, and the developer did not hide this behind a subscription. Happy to pay a one time fee for this awesome app.
