You only get a few frame grabs before everything is locked behind a subscription permanently. I’d be willing to watch ads for a free frame grab (similar to 🍑y) but that’s not even an option. Uninstalled.

I have tried so many different apps to get that perfect still frame from my videos and I’m SO GLAD I bumped into Frame Grabber! I think the option to retain the highest quality still frame is the most amazing feature.

I believe I paid for this app years ago. I haven’t used it in a while and when I just did, I can’t grab any frames because it has moved to subscription based model like every other app it seems. Will be deleting.

Retrieving a picture from a moving image should not be difficult. Far too many integrated systems (iphone, mac) overcomplicate the process. Many lead to loss of quality, incorrect formats, or simply not actually “frame by frame”. Frame Grabber does 1 thing but it does it exceptionally well - retrieving an image whilst retaining its source quality without issue. Intuitive by design and streamlined because grabbing a frame should be just that - a simple process.

I needed an app to grab frames from slo mo 240fps. I was measuring the screen latency of an iPhone 16 and didn’t want to buy a fancy high-speed camera. 
When I opened the app, I INSTANTLY was able to pick exactly the frames. then I could figure out the measurement I needed (to +/- 1.2 ms!)

I am loving your Framegrabber app!  I have more fun with it than you might expect. As an avid birder, I find your app easy to use to isolate a frame to catch birds’ expressions or feathers.  And I absolutely love the ability to slow frame action down to .10 or even snail. 

Today I was able to isolate 10 seconds from a hummingbird video at .10 — that slow motion wing action is awesome to see!  It’s literally a physics of flight lesson. 

I’d like to share my entire clip with my grandson, but I’m having trouble figuring out how. The export option seems only to export one frame as a photo. I may be missing something.  I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max—is there a way to save the entire 10-second slo-mo clip from Framegrabber to my phone as a video rather than just one photo? 

If that’s not possible now, perhaps it’s something you could add as a feature of your app? 

It would be exciting to be able to share my clip with my grandson. I can hardly wait for your reply!
