## What is FramerCalc?

FramerCalc is a focused carpentry calculator for carpenters, framers, remodelers, builders, and serious DIY woodworkers.

Turn measurements into clear results for stair stringers, common rafters, board feet, stud and joist layouts, sheet goods, concrete volume, square-up diagonals, feet-inch fractions, and material takeoffs.

Built for the way work happens on site:
- Stair stringers: risers, treads, total run, stringer length, and IRC reference warnings
- Rafter / roof pitch: common rafter length, rise, pitch angle, plumb cut, seat cut, overhang, roof area, and sheathing estimates
- Board feet: nominal lumber volume, quantities, and cost
- Stud / joist layout: on-center count, mark positions, openings, extras, and plate estimates
- Sheet goods: drywall, OSB, plywood, waste, orientation, and order area
- Concrete: cubic feet, cubic yards, and bag count
- Square-up diagonal: quick 3-4-5 layout checks
