## What is Framingham Calc?

Cardio FastCalc is a cardiovascular risk calculator based on the Framingham Cohort Study, which is still ongoing and is the longest study of its kind. The study began in 1948 and is now following the fourth generation of participants.

This app will perform complex calculations based on the data you enter (age, sex, smoking status, diabetes, hypertension treatment, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and systolic blood pressure) and provide you with the result. In addition, the app includes the Friedewald formula for calculating LDL cholesterol.

The result consists of a percentage risk of developing cardiovascular disease in the next 10 years and an estimated heart age.

By cardiovascular disease, we mean stroke, heart attack, peripheral arterial disease or heart failure.

O app é mto bom, porém depois da ultima atualização onde incluíram um anúncio do discovery plus, o app começou a dar problema, isso porque qdo abre a página do discovery plus, não é possível fechá-la para retornar e ver o resultado. Assim sendo, tenho que fechar o app, abri-lo novamente e inserir novamente todos os dados, para que o resultado apareça. Acredito que corrigindo esse problema o app vai ser nota 5.
Atualização: após a retirada da propaganda do discovery plus o app voltou a funcionar de maneira correta e eficiente. Obrigada pela resposta do servidor e parabéns pela agilidade para resolver o problema.
