Every single time I try to use it to access my account it locks my account and the ONLY way to get back in is to call customer service. This was the last time. I’m contacting my financial advisor Monday and having my money moved elsewhere. I truly think a third grade coding club would be able to create a better app. ### 1/5 — stopped working *2025-10-15, version 1.0.47* the original app was a bit clunky, but got the job done. however, when they added the additional security feature with the “one time pin,” it became completely inaccessible for me. i even deleted the app, waited several months and tried again. does not work at all. cannot log into my account. i can only access it thru the desktop version. super frustrating ### 1/5 — terrible app *2025-10-06, version 1.0.47* I have investment accounts and banking relationships with more than a dozen financial institutions. this is by far the worst app. it is both technically glitchy (continues to forget faceID, doesn’t remember my device, continues to require you to skip through a pre-roll of ads, etc) as well as bereft of information or detail (historical performance, figures don’t always add up). I hope you’ll upgrade the experience soon! it’s very disappointing. ### 1/5 — Log in issues *2025-10-06, version 1.0.47* Face ID works poorly. Sometimes the app offers Face ID, sometimes the app does not. Sometimes the app has a 2 step authorization, sometimes the app does not. It’s never consistent nor makes sense. It’s frustrating. ### 1/5 — Time to move investments to an organization that can make their app work *2025-09-29, version 1.0.47* This app has deteriorated to the point where I can’t log on with my iPad and rarely with my iPhone without calling tech support. If they can’t make their app work how poorly are they managing my investments? Time to start looking around! ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2025-09-27* Constantly sending stupid one time codes that do not work. I get locked out every single time. Then I wait 20 minutes on phone for some foreign speaking person to ask me a dozen questions to access my account. Ridiculous. **Developer response:** Hi, We understand the frustration for the one time code issues. The app will lock the user out after multiple failed attempts. The team will look into the issue related to the one time codes more. Thank you ### 1/5 — Klunky and buggy *2025-09-19* this app is pretty bad. now it’s glitching in that it keeps showing garbage that i have to scroll through in order to see my accounts. it also keeps forgetting my face id so i have to keep logging in the old fashioned way. it’s really not that hard to make the app work properly. spend the money to make it work! ### 1/5 — The Worst *2025-08-26, version 1.0.45* It was never a great app but at least it used to work. At some point earlier this year some significant updates and changes were made to the login process and it hasn’t worked since. Face ID no longer works, signing in with user and password is laborious with numerous OTP’s getting texted constantly all resulting in getting locked out of account. Trying to sign in on website is just as bad if not worse! ### 1/5 — Bad app *2025-08-20, version 1.0.45* I had this app for a long time.but the last 3 months, on my PC is not user friendly. My just deleted the app on my I phone, a round ring is running freezing the page. I am disgusted with your company hir Americans from Amazon or Google to get a nice web page. It is sad when you wait 3 hours a one to be answers, you had a great web page. Also I liked when native. speaking English people were on the phone. It does not speak of you to have such terrible apps and people who speak not native English. ### 1/5 — Terrible app and one time pin doesn’t come thru *2025-08-13, version 1.0.45* I have my login info and yet, there’s no way to retrieve the forced one time pin. It does not send it to my email on file and thus I can’t login to the app at all. There’s no online support or chat feature. Feels like the 1900s here. Time to move out all my funds and go elsewhere. My advice: don’t tie up your funds here. ### 1/5 — Inconsistent Functionality *2025-08-02, version 1.0.45* After multiple recent updates, the app logged me out and doesn’t recognize my Face ID and now the app has locked me out. I uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. The app asks for username and password and a one time code it never sends to me. Pretty worthless if you ask me. ### 1/5 — Broken *2025-08-01, version 1.0.45* They pushed an update recently that forced logged me out. When I attempted to log back in, it forced spammed a bunch of times and locked me out. I always have problems getting locked out with this app, and this is no exception. Of course, I now have to call to get it unlocked and I got the standard “wait times are longer than normal” and have been on hold for over 30 minutes for their mistake. Whoever manages this app is doing a terrible job and things should be tested before going live! ### 1/5 — Outdated and Weak *2025-07-01, version 1.0.44* It looks like a high school coding student made this app for their freshman project. There’s no email verification or password retyping to make sure it’s done correctly. That’s been standard since 2001. Also you should authenticate your email so that the OTP is sent to the correct email. It was asking me for a pin and I have no idea where it was sent, it wasn’t sent to the email I created my log in with. Most companies send pins via text. This app is stuck in the Stone Age. Bottom Line, I maybe made a login but I can’t use it. ### 1/5 — Broke it! *2025-06-21, version 1.0.43* This update broke their login and now I’m locked out since the password reset scheme is also broken. Total failure no surprise wait times is over an hour for a rep Just a short update. 6-20 I’m moving my funds to another broker. I make good on promises. The promise of excellent customer service by Templeton meant nothing besides chops to the manager who started this snowball of disappointment who brashly claimed “ released on schedule sit, where’s my raise? Granted it’s not huggggeeee money but I’m sure you’ve lost a few others and it adds up. Since you’re responsive but not held responsible let them know upstream that the person who really blew it was the head of testing. Adios. ### 1/5 — Face ID doesn’t work *2025-06-21, version 1.0.43* Before you supposedly updated this app face is worked- now it doesn’t even appear on the app when you open it- Yes I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it- you’d think for a huge conglomerate you’d have a great app - ### 1/5 — Amazing how bad this app is. *2025-06-13, version 1.0.42* Garbage. Updated the app, old log in information doesn’t work, support said I needed to register for the app again and I still can’t log in. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Zero stars - biometric login fails constantly. *2026-08-13, version 1.0.52* I was having issues logging in, so when I got the chance to turn on biometrics I leapt at it. It worked once, and then never again. When presented with a login, I’m asked for my thumbprint. After giving it, the app just presents a spinner. The spinner never stops. Not only is it extremely slow and unhelpful, but it’s nearly impossible to login. Every time I try to log in, i get an error, credentials incorrect (even though I know they are), and I don’t even have the ability to reset my password. I have to call for them to reset it, which requires waiting on hold for an hour or more. For any other information like statements or tax documents you have to go to the website. But face id login stops working sometimes *2025-06-14, version 1.0.42* It does the job, simple layout can do basic things which makes it more convenient that going to the website. But I liked it better before the last update, now I have to manually type in my login info every time. It doesn’t remember my face id saved login sometimes. The information you can look up on your accounts is basic. Also not entirely accurate. There’s a bug that shows my buy transactions are listed under one fund, and all my dividend transactions are listed in another fund. The way this was set up, you’d think this was someone’s senior year capstone project. Thank you ### 2/5 — Misleading contribution info *2025-06-30, version 1.0.44* Looks good, but the same contribution amounts are listed for every retirement account… I realized this when I was seeing current year contributions for a Trad IRA when I knew it was going to Roth. Scared me. Then I saw the same contribution amount listed under both. ? Please fix this.
