I used this app for years and over the past few months it has deteriorated rapidly. Slow, stops working mid shopping which is such a waste of time. Please fix so I can go back to pickup shopping. This forces me to shop elsewhere for pickup groceries.

You continually show items as in stock that haven’t been in stock for a week per store staff. The search engine is garbage. I have never experienced such a poorly coded search engine in my life!

The main reason I use the app is to clip digital coupons and use the shopping list when I’m in the store. The past two or three years you keep messing with the shopping list. It used to be good and then you keep messing with it. Two weeks ago another annoying change/glitch, half of the items on my list no longer show a picture and do not list the aisle. A shopping list is simple and you keep trying to make it complicated. Take it back to the version of three years ago! Yes, I have the updated app.

We spend thousands of dollars a year at Freddie’s, and this app experience is causing us to shift our shopping to Trader Joe’s, in addition to their prices being better. Every change made to the app in the last year has been from fine to terrible. Shopping list barely works at all, and the app glitches and fails constantly. Whatever corners were cut to put out this shoddy tech are going to cost customer dollars in the long run.

On an iPhone 17 pro max this app is laggy. It takes a full 30 seconds from tap to load all the bloat they shoved into this thing. Search is even slower. It’s like 2004 Google slow. It’s like YouTube from 2008 on 3G slow.

I can no longer use your app to shop in your store.  I can make a cart to be delivered or picked up, but if I want to actually shop and maybe buy something extra that catches my eye, your app makes it a struggle.  Please, consider, people still like to go into a store and shop.

Finally dumped this app and placed my pickup order with another store. I’m fed up with being shorted on items that I paid for and receiving damaged items and moldy boxed wine that I never got reimbursed for! It was great when I 1st signed up a couple of years ago and then it all went to hell. Yesterday when I tried to place a pickup order, the app would not accept my EBT PIN!! That was the last straw and I’m not going to waste yet another hour trying to understand a heavy foreign accent while dealing with the constant incompetence of this company from every level. I really don’t know if it’s just this specific store, or if All of Kroger/Fred Meyer’s is this bad, but I’m going to give another store a chance at actually doing right by their customers.
