It’s a solid app usually. Sometimes it glitches when they update new features. I have two Kroger-owned stores in my area, Fred Meyer and QFC. You’ll type something simple like “button up long sleeve” and it’ll pop up material items? Just the searching up needs some serious work. Also when making a pick up order, the app will glitch out and you have to restart your entire order. Also it’ll glitch when you are trying to make an order and you can’t add anything to your cart. ### 2/5 — Shopping List broken *2026-08-14, version 97.1.0* The main reason I use the app is to clip digital coupons and use the shopping list when I’m in the store. The past two or three years you keep messing with the shopping list. It used to be good and then you keep messing with it. Two weeks ago another annoying change/glitch, half of the items on my list no longer show a picture and do not list the aisle. A shopping list is simple and you keep trying to make it complicated. I’m fed up with being shorted on items that I paid for and receiving damaged items and moldy boxed wine that I never got reimbursed for! It was great when I 1st signed up a couple of years ago and then it all went to hell. Yesterday when I tried to place a pickup order, the app would not accept my EBT PIN!! That was the last straw and I’m not going to waste yet another hour trying to understand a heavy foreign accent while dealing with the constant incompetence of this company from every level. The old version had it so you could expand or collapse your list, why would you remove that? It takes up so much space. I want to be able to see more than one item on my list at a time. I dont need to see the pics of my stuff. Secondly, it used to be red with white font for the aisle numbers, but now it’s light blue, hard to see on the white background. Please fix it! ### 1/5 — Absolutely Horrible… *2026-07-22, version 96.2.0* I never leave app reviews but this app has gotten progressively worse over the past several months where it is basically useless now (same with the QFC sister app). They completely ruined the list function. I always used to sort by aisle descending when I was at the store. Now the sorting doesn’t work at all. Things seem to be in some random order. And for some reason they added thumbnail images for every item which makes it even clunkier. And today, I noticed my saved lists were ALL GONE, except for the “active” one. I had a few lists saved that I depend on for events we host each year. GONE!!! 🤬 I have no idea what’s going on with their dev and QA (if they have one) teams but this is ridiculous! ### 1/5 — Buggy and Unusable for Pick Ups *2026-07-22, version 96.2.0* I was hoping to place a pick up order, but everytime I add my address it says “Error updating address, try again later.” I’m unable to add my CC because it says the CVV is “too short” when it’s 3-digits, and the field to input says it needs to be 3-4 digits. Then it was saying Idaho is not a valid state. I finally gave up and placed an order with Super 1, which was much easier, faster, and straight forward than trying to work around and hunt for items on this buggy app. ### 1/5 — The worst shopping app available *2026-07-19, version 96.1.1* The search feature is useless. Need shoes? Nope, but we will show you a variety of socks and underwear. Need zip ties? Nope, how about belts instead? When you check an item as completed, it reorganizes the entire list so you have to exit out and go back in. There are ghost items that show up without images for the product (which are already shown in the list) that cannot be removed no matter what you do. The setting feature to remove all items from list does not work. I have to reset the list using the website on my computer, which is phenomenally annoying. And why did the list need to get buried under the cart. On old versions of the app the list was accessible from an icon on the main screen. can we go back 5 version and get the functioning app back instead of this trash?? ### 1/5 — FM JUNKY WE QUIT! shopping at Safeway now. *2026-07-09, version 96.0.0* Apparently there is no one in the Fred Meyer realm that can help anyone with this app. This app used to be one of the best now it is worthy of the sewer. You would think someone at Fred Meyer corporation would know how to operate this app and be able to help people with it. But that’s not happening. There is no one in any of the Fred Meyer stores that I go to that knows how to operate the app. Who did they hire to create this update? It is garbage and there is no one available to help…. This app will let you make an entire grocery list and then when you checkout it gives you an error code and your order is cancelled. Is this app now just AI slop? It is very easy to search for items and fast. It will be easy to check out sales, coupons and what is needed for my shopping list. ### 5/5 — Find products much easier at the store. *2026-05-27, version 94.3.0* I have used this app for a long time and It was always a struggle finding those unique / atypical products as you needed to create a list and then go through the list etc. Now the product’s location at the store is now visible directly on the search result list. Bravo! Well done! Much better user experience. ### 5/5 — Use before Tuesday 9pm *2026-02-11, version 91.0.0* Since the coupons never successfully apply in person, I use this for grocery pickup and you can save a TON on clipping coupons and applying to your order. Whatever is on sale is how I plan my meals for the week. New coupons drop on Wednesday at midnight. And expire Tuesdays around 9pm. So place orders before then. Once you select an active list, the subsequent view has no way to search. - After you scan a barcode there’s no way to save the found product to a list, making barcode scan useless. - Cannot add a generic item to your list (e.g. “carrots”).
