## What is freddy coach?

freddy is the health context layer for your AI. Connect the apps where your health and training data already lives, and freddy makes that data available to the AI assistant you already use, so you can ask about your sleep, workouts, recovery, and trends in plain language. freddy is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

What you can do with freddy:

- Connect your wearables, rings, CGMs, training platforms, and more in a few taps.
- Ask any AI assistant about your health and training data, in any conversation.
- Keep your data current automatically as your devices sync.
- See everything you have connected, and when each source last synced.

freddy works with the AI assistants you already use. It does not lock you into one app or one AI, and you stay in control of what you connect.

Privacy first:

- freddy only reads the data you choose to connect, on your behalf.
- You can disconnect any source, or delete your account and all of your data, at any time, from inside the app.
- freddy does not sell your data, and never uses it for advertising.

freddy is for people who track their health and training and want that context in their AI conversations, without copying and pasting numbers by hand.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-08-19

Apple Health sleep and workouts could fall behind while everything else kept arriving. This build reworks how those two catch up: they now heal themselves in the background and stay current, and one slow source no longer costs the rest of your data its turn.

During a large history import, today's numbers now land first instead of waiting for the backlog to finish.

The Overview's Latest data readout now reflects when data actually arrived, with a live indicator while a sync is running.

Also fixed: the Sources tab briefly claiming nothing was connected while it loaded, and the support chat occasionally sending the same message more than once.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-08-12

Garmin history now comes through. Garmin starts its Historical Data Export permission switched off, which quietly left new connections with nothing from before the day you connected. freddy now names that toggle before it hands you over to Garmin, and if you already connected without it, the app offers you a reconnect card to bring your history across.

Fitbit data now reaches freddy on iPhone through Apple Health.

Claude Code and Codex sit alongside the other assistants when you connect an AI.

When one source goes quiet, the alert now names that source instead of suggesting your whole account stopped syncing.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-08-06

Upgrading your plan now brings in your full history. If you connected Apple Health on the free plan and upgraded afterwards, the import stopped at the last 7 days and never went back for the rest. It now picks up the remaining history on its own.

Records dated far in the future are no longer stored, so your most recent readings stay accurate.

Importing a Garmin data export now tells you what actually came through if part of the import is interrupted.

• Apple Health sleep now keeps syncing. A bug caused sleep to stop updating shortly after connecting, leaving many people frozen at their connect date. New nights now arrive reliably, and missing nights fill back in automatically without a re-import.
• Fixed sleep sessions occasionally being recorded twice, or split into two partial nights, when importing long histories.
• Fixed a rare crash during background sync.
• Fixed a crash when reading certain Apple Health records.
• You can now always remove a data source, even if it was stuck mid-sync.
• Fixed an incorrect alert when the same account was used on two devices.
• Fixed a problem that made normal background sync look like an error.

NEW
• Optional notification if your data stops syncing, so you find out without checking the app.
• Optional diagnostics sharing, so support can look at your sync status when you ask for help. Off by default, and only while you turn it on.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-07-24

- Fixed Apple Health syncing stalling for part of your metrics while a few kept updating. Affected accounts recover automatically over a few days of normal use, no re-import needed.
- Health permission prompts now only appear while the app is open, so background syncing never stalls waiting for one.
- Garmin ZIP import now handles archives exported on a Mac and reports partially imported files clearly.
- Free plan: the app now counts how many days of older history are waiting beyond your plan window. Counts only, computed on your phone.
- Better recognition of third-party apps writing into Apple Health, and Grok added to the AI clients list.
- Fixed a rare crash during background health reads.
