The only problem is there is a 2 min delay. ### 3/5 — Could use some work... *2015-10-08* Like anyone, I want what I pay for to work. (For that matter, I want what I don't pay for to work...) As a commuter I was excited to find the live traffic cams, but alas, they crash every time, causing me to have to open the app again. I'm giving 3 stars because the app has great potential and because the "monitor/scanner" part seems to work reliably. I don't love that I forked out $.99 and it doesn't work great but presumably the developers will fix it. I don't think a dollar is going to break me but I do like stuff to work without inconvenience. ### 5/5 — Very Good App *2013-10-13* I am very impressed by this app. Although I have had it only a short amount of time, I tried all the features and they worked flawlessly. Great thing to have here in the community. Good job. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No audio!! *2023-10-03* I have loved the older version of this app and enjoyed it for years until very recently it began to sporadically stop working. So, I was super excited to see the latest update. I did get a black screen, at first, so I reinstalled and now I can see the new graphics.. But, no matter what I try, I have no audio. I know there’s transmission going on through another scanner app. I also miss the source of the call but that may be the same problem as the audio. Really disappointing. **Developer response:** Please be sure your ios is up to date. You can always contact us for help. ### 1/5 — Stopped working *2023-05-03* As of a few days ago, the app stopped working on my wife’s phone. It is an iPhone 7 with the latest iOS. It just shows a splash screen for about two seconds and then disappears. It worked fine up until the new version. Still works on my iPhone SE. **Developer response:** This happened because iPhone 7 does not support iOS 16. Features in the updated app rely on current versions of iOS. ### 1/5 — This is useful *2020-06-05* I can heard anything, is no videos what’s the point of pay for this ? So useful. **Developer response:** It’s an “audio” app, what video are you expecting to see? And when listening, police aren’t always speaking. You need to leave it running and listen for a while. ### 1/5 — Pointless *2020-05-17* It plays ads constantly even if you pay for it! It used to be perfect for catching calls on because of the delay in broadcasting but now it just plays ads. I don’t not recommend it unless it is changed back to the way it was! **Developer response:** The ads were added by the vendor hosting the feeds without alerting us. During the timeframe that you downloaded it, we had a temporary audio outage. ### 2/5 — No longer works. *2023-04-30* Not sure what’s going on but every time I open the app it closes immediately. It used to work fine. Tried restarting phone, but same thing. Hope there’s a fix for this. I have to use a different app. ### 3/5 — Poorly designed and not worth the $$ *2023-01-26* Purchase this app a while back and recently re-download it just to realize why I deleted it in the first place. It is so poorly designed that it took me 10 minutes just to figure out how to switch stations. The poorly designed graphics are the best thing about it, and that’s about it… not worth it, even if it was free. ### 3/5 — Great app.. needs work *2019-01-14* I was so excited to download this app & start using it. However, whenever I use the traffic cams the app crashes - that is so frustrating. No stupid ads; cameras, incident tracking (fire calls), 10 codes all included. ### 5/5 — Version 5.0 is awesome! *2023-10-02* This update is major overhaul, rebuilt from the ground up. The interface is much cleaner and more intuitive. Audio is much improved: clearer and less “clipping”. Also love the addition of the text showing the Latest Fire/Rescue incident which updates whenever there is a new incident. This helps in the event a listener misses the audio dispatch. If I hear police/fire/rescue activity I can find out what's going on right away. The traffic and web cams are great. It's like an instant traffic report.
