### 3/5 — They screwed it up recently

*2026-05-17, version 3.4.42*

I play the daily challenge every day. If you miss one, or cannot solve it that day, you have to watch an ad. Fair enough. But the “escape” process afterward is ridiculous. You often have to click through multiple screens and get dumped into the App Store several times before the app finally lets you dismiss the ad and return to the game. Tedious and torturous. If I do not want the product, I should simply be able to tap X and go back to FreeCell.

Nevertheless, on the rare occasions I have not solved the puzzle that day, I have put up with it.

Here is the really annoying part: twice this month I solved the puzzle fairly easily, only to discover afterward that the game did not credit me with the win. Once could be an anomaly. Twice is a glitch.

Please fix the failure to record completed games and, while you are at it, fix the inability to cleanly exit ads and return directly to the puzzle.

### 4/5 — Good, but small icons

*2026-05-15, version 3.4.42*

I’m so SICK of the THC ads! “Not interested” doesn’t seem to stop them either.

Game review: a bit hard to distinguish the clubs from spades due to the small size on the phone.

### 2/5 — Not as good as it used to be

*2024-06-12, version 3.4.3*

I have been playing this great game for years but now there are many too many adds. Very frustrating

### 4/5 — Card numbers

*2024-05-12, version 3.3.21*

The old game had larger numbers which made it easier for older people.

### 3/5 — More ads

*2024-05-09, version 3.3.20*

I’ve enjoyed playing this game for years but recently the frequency of ads has increased. I’d pay a one off fee to avoid this but a monthly payment is too much.

### 4/5 — Hard to play

*2024-04-17, version 3.3.20*

Cards slid around. Cards don't move when you tap them. The playing surfaces slides up at odd times. The worst game I have tried to play. Much better versions available.

### 4/5 — Disappointing

*2023-10-10, version 3.3.12*

This was one of my favorite and relaxing games.. However the persistent showing of the Royal Match Ad is driving me away. It is so long and annoying.
I would think that you would get the message by now that this player is not interesting in getting the game. I hate it already.

### 4/5 — Last Update Caused Problems

*2023-10-05*

I am visually impaired, so some of the very tiny print installed in last update is very difficult for me. I have to use magnifying glass. This took some of the fun out of my game. Why make such changes?

**Developer response:** Hello,

Thank you for playing Free Cell and for providing feedback!

We have addressed the problem you mentioned in one of our latest updates. Feel free to contact our Customer Support if you are still having issues or require any further assistance!

### 2/5 — Too many long ads to try different games.

*2023-07-23, version 3.3.9*

If I wanted to play a different game I would go and find what I wanted.
T non removable, LONG adds for other games is annoying to say the least. I like the game but the continual bombardment of adds make you want to find some other version of free cell to play.
Give the user a way to bypass the adds.

### 4/5 — Good game

*2023-06-23, version 3.3.9*

My go to unwinding app.

### 5/5 — Great Freecell App.

*2023-05-19, version 3.3.8*

I especially like the start over feature. I would like a feature that counts for me how many games in a row I was able to solve. I would like a app without ads.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Vocal adds are absurd

*2025-04-30, version 3.4.20*

Visual adds are in the way but are acceptable. But when vocal adds blast into my playing with no control I will be removing the app. This is absurd

### 1/5 — Spontaneous ads

*2025-04-26, version 3.4.20*

Hostess commercials are very annoying, so much so that I deleted the app

### 1/5 — Pzs

*2024-09-15, version 3.4.8*

Très nul zéro

### 1/5 — Ads

*2024-07-28, version 3.4.5*

After the recent update the ads are horribly longer and way more frequent, moving on from this to another developer. You cannot play more than 1 game without a really long ad that you cannot click to exit out of.

### 1/5 — Freecel

*2024-01-12, version 3.3.14*

I hate your update forcing games making it difficult to simply play

### 1/5 — Ads are Terrible

*2023-11-25, version 3.3.14*

Can’t even play games without very disruptive and pointless ads

### 1/5 — Nothing automatic

*2023-07-08, version 3.3.9*

Only moves one card at a time not the sequence

### 1/5 — Why am I getting adds for an underage girls app.

*2023-01-12, version 3.3.6*

Love FreeCell. Hate advertising. What’s shocking is one for Bigo. They look underage teenage girls.
My ad preference are switched off on my phone. So I do get random apps advertised. But this ad seems like exploitation. Shame on the developers who allow such apps to be advertised.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2022-11-24, version 3.3.4*

Not working

### 1/5 — —guillz—

*2022-07-10, version 3.2.9*

I updated and now the cards are so small I can’t play. 🙄 before it was 5 stars

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-08-19, version 3.4.51*

Just too long to wait for repeat ads to complete

### 5/5 — Winnable

*2026-03-13, version 3.4.38*

It’s nice to have a game that’s based more on logic and skill than luck. It’s tough at first, then like riding a bicycle — find the balance and it will work out fairly often.

### 5/5 — Free Cell

*2026-02-28, version 3.4.37*

Enjoy the app very much

### 5/5 — Disappointed

*2026-01-30, version 3.4.35*

Loved it for years until today. Deleted it when I was being compelled to complete a life insurance form before I could continue.

### 5/5 — Good game, never the same

*2025-03-01, version 3.4.17*

I play this about everyday. It is simple but challenging. Every once in a while it takes me awhile to figure it out. But I do get done. 🙂

### 5/5 — There should be more apps like this one

*2025-01-25, version 3.4.15*

A one time, easy purchase to have ad free? Yes please. My only gripe is that I’ve earned all these coins and I have nothing to spend them on. Every theme has been bought or earned.

### 5/5 — Free cell iversoft

*2024-09-28, version 3.4.8*

My name is not on the leaderboard any longer

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2024-06-08, version 3.4.2*

Keeps me playing for hours.

### 5/5 — Best FreeCell

*2023-08-05, version 3.3.10*

No gimmicks, minimal ads. This is based on 8 years of playing. No single complaint.

### 5/5 — Z

*2023-06-17, version 3.3.9*

…….z…..zzZ. D.zzzz. Hi zzzz
