染井吉野の起源を探った研究者が国立遺伝学研究所内に遺した、さくらの特性をまとめた本「遺伝研のさくら/発行元：財団法人遺伝学普及会」をiPhone/iPadアプリ化しました。厳選されたさくらの美しい写真は一見の価値があります。また花びらの数などの詳細なデータは今まで知らなかったさくらの魅力に気づかせてくれます。

さくらは染井吉野(そめいよしの)だけだと思っていませんか？
麒麟(きりん)、手弱女(たおやめ)、鬱金(うこん)、楊貴妃(ようきひ)…
