But they’re certainly made available and easy to access. Customer service is on point and super helpful. But it would be better if the FAQ section includes info for the US, like info for tolls. ### 3/5 — Mantenimientos *2026-02-19, version 5.32.0* Es necesario hacerle mantenimiento a los carros ### 4/5 — No car *2026-02-04, version 5.31.0* I recently used the app to get a rental car and they sent me to the union station location in Dc to get the car but when I got there the lady told me I was unable to rent the car because I need a credit card and I had a chime credit and they didn’t accept that so I wanted to use my debit card and she said I needed proof of who I was and I gave her my gas and electric bill and she said she couldn’t use them because it has a pass due balance. Don’t understand what my pass due balance has to do with renting a car but I was a little upset because I had to Uber there and wasted money because I was unable to get the car. No where on the app said that any of this information if it did I wouldn’t have wasted my time. ### 3/5 — Connectivity issues and glitches *2025-12-30, version 5.29.0* The app struggles to connect to the internet and since the update to how pictures are taken, the app has serious glitches. For the cost, I expect a better more functional app. ### 4/5 — App functionality while in Europe *2025-12-03, version 5.28.0* I usually use the app while in the U.S., I’m in Frankfurt and the app does not display any cars available. I can only see gas stations. Free2move is international. How can this be fixed, so I can use it while I’m in Germany. ### 1/5 — Awful customer service *2025-11-29, version 5.28.0* Seem like this company had a merge or something, the original parking spot with a sign on it is apparently longer in the zone and they didn’t do their job of updating. The customer agent just keeps telling you to park away and very rude. DO NOT USE! ### 5/5 — Pratique *2025-11-27* Au début un peu compliqué pour comprendre comment débloquer la voiture, payer, etc. Et à la fin pour la verrouiller. Compliqué aussi sí on veut juste faire une pause sans mettre fin à la location. Le système informatique n’est pas toujours opérationnel et il faut s’armer de patience mais si on pratique souvent la location on finit par y arriver chaque fois plus facilement. Le principe même de ces voitures en libre location est intéressant car beaucoup de liberté par rapport a une location classique dans une boite de location où on vous fait plein d’histoires sur l’état de la voiture même si vous n’êtes pas responsable des marques sur la carrosserie. No serious complaints, however the app. Every time I end a trip it reverts to what I assume is the European version of the app and it takes a while for it to work as US. crazily there was just an update and still it happens. It shows things like the rewards plan and even lets you start but that feature is not available here so it just spins. ### 4/5 — Führerschein neu validieren ? *2025-11-17* Eigentlich eine sehr tolle App auch vom Aufbau und allem, jedoch habe ich eine Frage: wie kann man seinen Führerschein in der App neu validieren lassen bzw. diesen genannten Prozess einfach neu starten. Das Problem ist ich hatte es damals versucht und dann wurde es nicht akzeptiert obwohl ich einen normalen gültigen Führerschein habe der bis ins Jahr 2031 Gültigkeit hat. Ich wollte den Prozess heute mal neu starten jedoch find ich dazu keine Anleitung in der App. **Developer response:** Hey! Danke für dein Feedback. Instead, they brought a Fiat 500 for 4 people, electric. They told me they didn’t have my car available. I had to rearrange the whole trip, find another car for the other person, find electric chargers along the route… On top of that, the car I booked included unlimited mileage. The one they brought didn’t. So now i have to pay extra due to their lack of planification. They gave me a 20€ credit, which is useless because obviously i will NEVER use this service again. ### 1/5 — Never let me get the rent or reserve the car *2026-08-06, version 5.45.0* Made an account and tried to reserve a car wouldn’t allow me to reserve it then found an car and tried to pay for while at the car didn’t allow me to pay/start it called customer service 4 times and nobody never answered. Wouldn’t recommend renting from Free2Move ### 1/5 — Scammers! *2026-07-28, version 5.44.0* This app takes advantage of users and then fails to offer any type of customer support. If the car won’t start, good luck because you have to send an email and wait at least 2 days for a response. At the end of a trip I had to add gas and followed the instructions for reimbursement, conveniently the refund button was greyed out and the only option was a credit. I sent an email a month ago and no one responded. I had to dispute the charge with my bank. Also the car was $100 a day! Way too expensive! ### 1/5 — AVOID! SCAM! Refuses to reimburse for gas! *2026-07-18, version 5.42.0* This app provides no real time customer support so if you can’t unlock the car or have an emergency due to the app glitching, you’re stuck! Instead you have to send an email and wait for days! I couldn’t connect to WiFi after parking in a garage and I spent an hour trying to figure out how to get the car unlocked. Also, they are supposed to reimburse for gas but the reimbursement request button is conveniently disabled. I emailed them weeks ago and they’re ignoring me. I had to dispute the charge with my bank. This company is deliberately unresponsive and opportunistic. ### 1/5 — Cant sign up *2026-07-10, version 5.42.0* Not working properly. Can’t find my reservation ### 1/5 — Disappointed!!! *2026-07-01, version 5.41.0* This was my first time using this app, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The pickup location for the rental car was incorrect, so we had to cancel the booking. Despite never using the car, I was still charged €72.06 on my credit card. Customer service was equally disappointing. I sent multiple emails, but each time a different representative handled my case and repeatedly asked for the same information instead of resolving the issue. Conclusion: The service has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company. ### 1/5 — use enterprise *2026-05-18, version 5.38.0* illegitimate application/company i have been driving for 5 years uploaded my real id dl that is valid for another 10+ years never notified of/given reason as to why my dl was rejected (i found out in-app) are drivers with corrective lenses not allowed to use this service? there are 0 other reasons why i would not be approved just to clarify, if you wear glasses, use hertz or enterprise (they will rent to you, no qualms) ### 1/5 — Unauthorized charges *2026-05-10, version 5.37.0* The positive reviews have to be paid. Look at the recent reviews only. They will bill your credit card 2 weeks after your ride for whatever charges they want like fake parking charges. ### 1/5 — Sold Information - Beware *2026-04-17, version 5.36.0* Since the day after I signed up for this app/account, I have been receiving 5-7 spam calls a day. There is no way to delete your account other than email and the section on privacy rights in their terms is supposed to be on page 43/44. The document/file only has 40 pages. ### 1/5 — Terrible facial recognition *2025-12-30, version 5.29.0* First time trying to access a car and the app won’t recognize my face. I spent 45 Minutes out in 19 degree Fahrenheit weather trying to have my face recognized. Customer service was no help, their only suggestion was to delete the app and replace keep trying. Ho affittato l’auto per accompagnare mia sorella a fare la spesa ed è stata davvero comodissima. Il bagagliaio era spazioso e perfetto per sistemare tutti i sacchi della spesa senza problemi. Il fatto che l’auto abbia quattro porte ha reso tutto ancora più pratico e confortevole, soprattutto per salire e scendere facilmente. Durante il tragitto abbiamo anche potuto ascoltare la radio, il che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Il livello di benzina era buono e l’auto in generale era pulita. C’era solo un po’ di cenere di sigaretta, ma era qualcosa di sopportabile anche se noi non fumiamo. Abbiamo notato un piccolo dettaglio: un copri-specchietto era rotto e si trovava nel cofano. Nulla di grave, ma forse da sistemare per i prossimi utenti. Die Optionen „kostenlos Auto vor dem Haustür liefern zu lassen“, die Möglichkeit Guthaben (3 Jahre gültig und jederzeit auszahlbar) zuzüglich 15% Extra Guthaben einzuzahlen (heißt, man bleibt frei, nicht monatlich mit dem Anbieter verbunden), Tagestarif inklusive Km Packet, 10€ Bonus fürs Tanken passen wunderbar mit meinem Profil. Bis jetzt nie ein Problem mit den Wagen ( die alles sehr gut ausgestattet sind) gehabt und Kundenservice immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Im Vergleich zu Konkurrenten (ich habe die alles getestet) finde ich Free2move den besten Anbieter.
