### 1/5 — Glitches and delays

*2025-12-19*

I got this app at the instruction of my Fiat dealer for the charging credit. First, it took 3 months for the charging credits to land on my account. I called and emailed customer service a dozen times and they kept telling me “maybe check back in another week.”

Now that the charging credits are here, I have multiple issues with the app itself. Most of the Flo charging stations near me do not show up on the map to select to start charging. I get an error message at 4/5 charging stations near me. Or if I do manage to get to the start screen, it shows as faulty.

Very inconsistent app. I even called flo to help and they said they are moving away from this app and focusing on using other EV charging apps.

### 1/5 — No locations

*2025-12-03*

I got $600 in credit for charging when I bout my Dodge Charger and according to this app, the closest charging station is about 1 hour away. Google shows plenty of other locations but my map only shows 1 at McDonalds in cudahy wi and one at some place in Racine wi. I haven’t been able to use any of my credits for months now.

### 1/5 — Never works

*2025-11-12*

I’ve tried to use this app twice. Only because I have a credit. The first time it kept giving me an error, and looked like it wasn’t working. I had to use the charging companies app to actually get started. My car started charging but the app was still acting up and looked like I wasn’t getting charged. I saw the charge on it later. The second time o used it I had the same issue and again had to use the app for the charger direct. And had to pay out of pocket and didn’t get to use the credit. I’ll keep trying but what gives?

### 1/5 — Useless App

*2025-11-08*

Absolutely worthless App. I purchased Free2Move Charging Station and the App does not work. The company troubleshooting is to remove all WiFi security settings to connect. Even after removing all security settings and exposing my entire home network to possible bad actors, I still can’t use the App.

### 1/5 — Useless for managing home charger

*2025-11-04*

Apparently the app connected successfully to my charger unit but there are no functions to manage/control the charger or schedule charging. Only options I see are edit and delete the connection to the charging unit. What’s the point of this app?

### 1/5 — Took forever to show the credit

*2025-09-17*

I purchased a Fiat 500e on 7/6. The dealer sent in the wrong email address so my account couldn’t be setup. It took more than a month to get my Fiat account up and running. Then, up to today 9/16, the promised $600 charging credit is still not showing on my free2move account. I made weekly calls to check, was told some “second level escalation” reported several weeks ago. More than three cases filed. Still….. nothing happens yet.

### 1/5 — Won’t end my charging session

*2025-06-07*

I only have this app because I got a charging credit when I bought a new Dodge Charger in March. So far I have only used it twice. The second time, I only charged for 16 minutes. It was debited correctly for the session, but the app still shows the session running, 2 weeks later. I have submitted several trouble tickets through the app, but have received no response. I would love to be able to take a short trip this weekend, and use my credits, but I can’t.

**Developer response:** Hi MINItron, sorry to hear your charging session didn't flow properly. We appreciate your patience while our team worked to get things back on track. We're glad to share that your issue was resolved and your account should now be working as expected! We invite you to try charging again and if you run into any further trouble please do not hesitate to contact us directly at support@free2movecharge.com.

### 1/5 — Won’t connect to At Home Level 2 Charger

*2025-04-17*

Just had my Free2move level 2 charger installed at home. When I go to connect to the app I can get the Bluetooth connection but then when it goes to connect to WiFi it just spins and hangs up and keeps searching. I tried all troubleshooting at home and then saw others here saying to download the Wallbox app (this is just a rebranded Wallbox charger). That worked perfectly. Wish I would have checked here first and saved myself hours of time. Really wanted to have a seamless connection to my vehicle but this app is broken with regards to connection to at home chargers. Can’t speak to its connection and usage for public chargers yet. Developer please fix and make this app work!

### 1/5 — Won’t Connect to Free2Move Chargers

*2025-02-22*

This app is terrible. First of all, it doesn’t connect to my recently installed Free2Move Level 2 home charger. It initially connects via Bluetooth, but won’t complete the WiFi connection step(doesn’t display available networks). It’s poorly formatted for the screen size of my iPhone 16 ProMax and is overall very clunky. The public charging station function is basically a poorly implemented version of the ChargePoint app(whose native app works much better).

Here’s a tip if you’re stuck with a Free2Move home charger. The charger itself is manufactured by WallBox. If you install their app, it connects and functions seamlessly with this unit. It actually offers far more functionality than Free2Move.

If you opted for the free public charging credits when you purchased your Stellantis vehicle, you’re kinda stuck with this app until you’ve used them up. After that, I would dump it.

### 1/5 — Not sure who benefits from this besides the dealership

*2025-02-12*

There is nothing in this app that can’t be found in bespoke EV network apps, and it seems to only allow access to ChargePoint. Very few options for people who didn’t request the charger.

I got this app when I bought a Fiat EV and I didn’t select the charging unit option. I assumed my credit from Stellantis would go here, but it never did. (Turns out the dealer gave me a $250 Level 1 cable and charged $550 back to Stellantis for a Level 2 charger reimbursement. Nice.) I haven’t found it useful at all in my area.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect to WiFi

*2025-02-08, version 1.6*

Had to get this for work…and the thing doesn’t connect to WiFi….is this really that hard?

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-02-07*

I bought a Free2move EV charger and installed it at home. I downloaded this app and connected via Bluetooth. First thing it does is take you to a screen searching for WiFi…. Which doesn’t work. It just hangs there. I have a very good WiFi signal and it can’t find it. Doesn’t find any of my neighbors either. Totally broken app and it means I can’t even set up my new charger!

### 1/5 — App is not working

*2024-07-11, version 1.3*

I can’t get passed the “Complete Your Profile” screen. I enter my information, click “Next”, and nothing happens. Please fix it. I’m sure this would be a useful tool for my new Jeep 4 x e.

### 1/5 — Hangs on completing profile screen

*2024-06-26, version 1.3*

Hangs on completing profile screen during installation

### 1/5 — Does Not Work

*2024-06-12*

Downloaded this to find in-network chargers to use my Fiat 500e credits. Installed the app, clicked ‘Get Started,’ and it went to a screen displaying car brand logos, but with no way to select Fiat from the list or to advance to the next page. Submitted a support request and heard nothing back. Completely useless app, would give it 0 stars if the app store would let me.

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear about your issue! We've looked into it and believe that it should now be resolved. We invite you to try again and if you encounter any other issues please do not hesitate to contact us directly at support@free2movecharge.com.

### 1/5 — Got Stuck on second screen

*2024-06-09, version 1.3*

I installed then clicked “get started” and then it hung.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not reliable

*2026-07-03*

I almost got stranded because the app would not allow me to charge. It kept giving an error message saying that I was still in an active session when I had not charged my car that day.

### 1/5 — Can’t charge

*2026-06-19*

Either free2move doesn’t support that charging station or it’s unavailable. Either way, You can’t charge with this application.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t recognize it’s own chargers on app

*2026-05-24, version 3.1*

Went to use their chargers that have their labels on them and they don’t even show up on their app to even use.

### 1/5 — app

*2026-04-02, version 3.0*

downloaded hasn’t worked in three days been “under construction” not acceptable absolutely horrible!

### 1/5 — Freezes

*2026-03-31, version 3.0*

After the update the app freezes and not a user friendly interface

### 1/5 — Stuck charging session

*2026-03-19*

Says my Daytona charger has been charging for 30 hrs and I only used the public charging station for about 30 minutes! How can I fix the Stuck session??? I’ve tried everything except going to Buc-ee’s to tell them to see if they could do something about it. The people on the phone for this place told me to do everything I’ve already done bc I looked it up. Still nothing. The place is really no help and the app is ridiculous. Once my credits are gone I’ll be dropping the app! DO NOG USE THE APP!

### 1/5 — App Doesn’t Work

*2026-02-26*

Can never start charging sessions within the app. Have to rely on other apps to do so. Zero app support as well.

### 1/5 — Can’t connect credit card

*2026-02-23, version 2.3*

Abysmal client service. Can’t support a user in Europe with an IOS account associated to the US. Can’t support their own apps (2 separate calls.) Had to throw it away.

### 1/5 — It doesn’t work

*2026-02-20*

I’m trying desperately to find where to set up my account to get access to my newly installed home type 2 charger but every link provided is useless and gives no assistance. It won’t even say WHICH stellantis account you need, so good luck and someone tell me where I need to make a login so I can actually use the features and diagnose issues on the unit. About ready to return the type 2 and say to heck with this nonsense because nothing is working and there is no guidance on diagnosing error codes. I didn’t pay my electrician enough for the multiple return trips to try diagnosing all these issues night by night after completing the install.

### 1/5 — I hope you’re not planning on using this app

*2026-02-12*

Because it’s worthless. Every time I try to charge using the credit provided with my lease the app is either unresponsive or reflects open chargers are in use. Every time I have to switch to the charger provider app and pay out of pocket. They will not reimburse. Huge scam.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Mr James Moore

*2026-07-16, version 3.1*

Love It!!!

### 5/5 — Simple and usefull

*2026-05-18*

I love how now we can see Tesla and Ionna station in the app.

### 5/5 — Alfa driver

*2024-04-23*

Found this app through the link inside my vehicle app. I am super impressed! Seamless UI / UX, and was able to link my existing FCA account.

Searching for a charger is easy, and has all of the chargers nearby me (and some other ones that are new to me)! Great search filters, and starting a charge from the app works great after I link my ChargePoint account in the app.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2024-04-10*

The Free2move Charge app is absolutely amazing. So excited to have all of the EV charging locations at my fingertips. Love this!!

### 3/5 — True

*2025-03-24*

I like this app. What makes it bad is lack of communication. I used it. Couldn’t get it to link with wall charger . Why? Because Evolutions App was listed as a 3rd party management app within this one when I downloaded it. Stay away from esolutions. I agree with another comment - Use the wallbox app. Go to its settings and remove your 3rd party app if you can’t connect . That’s what’s causing the block when trying to connect. Took hours to figure this out .

### 3/5 — Can’t find WiFi

*2024-11-01, version 1.5*

Well, excited to have my Free2move Charge installed and Level 2 charging commenced. I was able to scan the QR code and register the device and it connects by Bluetooth to me iPhone. The problem: it can’t see my WiFi. I have no special characters in the SSID (it’s a five letter word) but the app just sits there stating searching for WiFi. Bummer. Looking for an update!
