### 3/5 — Delete items no longer available!!!

*2026-08-13, version 3.9.4*

I like that u can see all the different free items from different sites. However the fact nothing gets removed once the item is no longer available is irritating

### 3/5 — Privacy concern and more

*2026-08-12, version 3.9.4*

Just be aware that eventually, if you get into contact as a receiver or giver, the other person will see you name and your actual email. You may want to set up fake accounts if this is a concern for you. I assumed this would be like Ebay and that all emails would stay on a Nextdoor page/server.

Also, it is sometimes really hard to find a post that you remember seeing.

Personally, i wish only the really urgent stuff would show up first, and that all less urgent stuff would appear in a second location, maybe a third location for feel good fluff. Or at least a filter button. For example, ‘i see smoke right now’ or ‘i just saw this suspicious person in front of my house’ would be top priority. It seems to get buried.

### 5/5 — Suggestion

*2026-08-08, version 3.9.4*

I thought by paying there would be an extra benefit using the app other than the unlimited whitelist. I don’t mind having made the payment because it has been beneficial. Just wish there was more to the app. Maybe instead of just entering your zip code it can also go by your current location.

### 5/5 — Best free app

*2026-08-07, version 3.9.4*

Has all the selling apps in one. So anything free on OfferUp,facebook marketplace, Nextdoor app ECT.. is on this app!! 100% across the board!!!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-08-06, version 3.9.4*

Great stuff

### 5/5 — Amazing resources

*2026-08-06, version 3.9.4*

I didn’t want to give this a review because I would like to gatekeep this, but it’s too good not to recommend. I just don’t want you to use it around me so I can be first to the free stuff!!

### 3/5 — Very useful but “do not disturb” on iOS needs to change

*2026-08-05, version 3.9.4*

I have found this app to be very useful. For a family moving into a home, you can find pieces to fill the home until you find your perfect piece to buy. A college student would also benefit to outfit temporary housing. A gardener can also find tools and decorations. My only issue with the iOS version is that you have to pick the number of hours to not be notified when “do not disturb” on the phone is enabled. Because “do not disturb “ is enabled while driving that presents an issue if you also use “do not disturb” during your sleep time. The iOS version should not have a time associated with “do not disturb.” When the phone is in “do not disturb” mode, the app shouldn’t send notifications until “do not disturb” is off.
These are add on comments. 1. If I paid for an annual subscription, it ought to apply to both my iPhone and iPad. 2. The screen does not rotate on my iPad. All of my other open apps rotate to match the orientation of my iPad but this app doesn’t. 3. Too many advertisements for stuff that isn’t actually free. Free internet is the most prevalent.
5 Aug 2026 Too many requests to be rated, I pay for a subscription, quit bugging me to rate, especially given I reviewed already

### 4/5 — Generally great…

*2026-08-04, version 3.9.4*

We’ve found many great items using this app and the notification feature. However, I do wish there were a way to further specify location settings. We live on one side of a river with the nearest crossings around 15-20 miles north and south of us, yet most of the alerts we get are from the town across the river less than ten miles from us. We have no way to get there quickly or within reasonable gas usage (would take an hour to 90 minutes one way) and can’t exclude them from our notifications and still get info from this side of the river. Food for thought for the app creators/developers.

### 5/5 — Great Time Saver

*2026-08-02, version 3.9.4*

Really great app to make it easier to find things for free.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-08-02, version 3.9.4*

Its a great app. I was able to find 3 free TV’s a samsung 20 in a 65 vision and a 75 vision.

### 4/5 — Suggestion

*2026-08-02, version 3.9.4*

I love this app, I would love it if we search for specific items or could save items to come back to

### 5/5 — Info included with freebie

*2026-08-02, version 3.9.4*

It would be so nice to include the measurements of an item. Especially desks and sofa tables

### 5/5 — ❤️

*2026-07-31, version 3.9.4*

Love this app! Great way to donate to our community and a great way for sellers to advertise their products. Users are very polite, attentive and responsive. Great app for givers and sellers and a heavenly place for consumers (free stuff lovers).

### 5/5 — Free stuff app

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Scammers

*2026-08-24, version 3.9.4*

I just click in one item to see what about it… and Inmediatally an Apple Store charge for 200s and something..

### 1/5 — Not everything is free

*2026-08-13, version 3.9.4*

This site is supposed to be for free items. Not items for sale. I report some of these listings but they are still on the site.

### 1/5 — Too many requests to rate

*2026-08-08, version 3.9.4*

In five minutes of browsing I dismissed the request to rate the app three times. On the fourth request I gave it one star, and froze while I was typing. Don't ask me again, I can't go any lower

### 1/5 — Items

*2026-08-04, version 3.9.4*

I’m looking for stuff, but everything’s two and three years old there’s no recent postings?

### 1/5 — Freebie

*2026-07-25, version 3.9.4*

Awful
I indicated I was interested in an item, the item disappeared. I received no notice I got no information. No nothing. I noticed this morning. The item was relisted and indicated as being sold. It did not indicate that it was sold to me or anyone in particular. I attempted to find out what was going on with that and I got absolutely nowhere Whatsoever.
I wasted totally wasted 45 minutes of my time trying to figure out what was going with this item that I would like to have picked up. I got absolutely nowhere.

### 1/5 — Bug

*2026-07-24, version 3.9.4*

It won’t let me uninstall the app

### 1/5 — Annoying

*2026-07-22, version 3.9.4*

Push notifications are actually coming through every minute. Deleting the app because you can’t silence for more than 8 hours

### 1/5 — Remove old listings

*2026-06-16, version 3.9.4*

None of the last 25 things I’ve looked at are still available. Please remove when item is gone.

### 1/5 — Nextdoor connection

*2026-06-14, version 3.9.4*

I used to love this app until it was connected to Next Door, which is full of a bunch of liberal twats who banned you from the site, so now I can’t use the app, so I’m about to delete because it’s connected to a liberal site that doesn’t let people who think different from them participate

### 1/5 — Upset Beyond words

*2026-06-13, version 3.9.4*

I’ve used this site for years and then out of no where it refuses to allow me to make purchases saying I don’t have an account! I tried to restore purchases and I get the same messages! And it won’t let me create an account! I don’t know what the issue is but I hope it gets resolved shortly because I’d like to give a 5 star review instead of this excrement!!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Outfit my whole apartment

*2026-08-25, version 3.9.4*

This is an amazing app. Do not try it. Because if you do, it will be less for me thanks.

### 5/5 — Great app, but one feature is missing.

*2026-08-25, version 3.9.4*

I really like Freebie Alerts. It makes it very easy to give away things that I no longer need and helps connect them with people who can use them.

One feature I would really like to see is an option to “Mark as Claimed” for posts that I created myself. Once an item has been picked up, the only option I currently see is “Delete post.”

It would be much better to have a CLAIMED status instead. That way the item would no longer appear as available, but I could still keep it in My Posts as a history of the things I have given away.

I’ve seen other posts displayed with a CLAIMED label, so it would be great if the person who created the post could also mark their own item as claimed.

Please consider adding this feature. It would make an already useful app even better!

### 5/5 — awesome stuff

*2026-08-24, version 3.9.4*

love i can find just about anything here

### 5/5 — Great App Straight Forward

*2026-08-21, version 3.9.4*

This is a great app. I enjoy it. The only CON that I can see... is that people post items that are not free at all and or services that are not free so the post can be misleading when the person posting is really looking to get paid for what they post

### 5/5 — Easy

*2026-08-20, version 3.9.4*

Great app easy to use

### 5/5 — Loved
