It "feels" better than the other apps for Freecell. It is just a super game and I enjoy it. Except. When a message pops-up between games asking if I want to play challenge games. Twice now, I have been distracted and tapped on yes before thinking about it. Then there is no way to get out of them or to delete the icon from the game. Right now, I'm trying to delete the challenge games (including the icons for it and the popups) by deleting the game and reinstalling it. I hope it works. Dear Developer, Please make it easier to get out of the challenge game mode. I don't want the pressure of playing them. ### 2/5 — Sizing problems *2025-03-11, version 5.4.0* The application never sizes out on landscape correctly any more. On a 16 Pro Max the sizing when moved into landscape mode goes to small or over sizes and is off the screen. It is never consistent. But I would love if you'd have a dark color option for the front of the cards. It would help a lot with lowering the brightness and make it more comfortable for the eyes. I had a really long daily winning streak, but all of a sudden when trying to access the Daily Challenge, there’s a popup that says I need to be online or have internet access to play the Daily Challenge. What happened? Last week it had an overhaul and it was stuffed up completely. Get your act together. I’m moving to another provider until you wake up. Put it back the way it was. ### 1/5 — Does Not Respect Your Privacy *2025-03-01, version 5.4.0* When you open the you‘re asked to accept or decline that the App collects data. When you decline, the next page says “Aw, but we want it. You can always change the settings later.” You can either accept or go back to the previous page. One connects daily, FreeCell hasn’t connected for 8 of the last 10 days. No issues with the other. I reported this earlier but no real response. So I paid for this version, then found that, before you can use it, you have to agree to get ads and have them sell your data. What was the point? Get any free version instead. ### 1/5 — No Longer Updates Game Center Achievements *2024-05-11, version 5.4.0* Although I do like the app, it appears that it no longer works with Game Center. My “Master” Achievement has been stuck at 73% even though I’ve played several hundred games since it hit 73%. The “Master” Achievement also displays in the “Locked” Achievement section. ### 1/5 — selecting cookie policy / multiple devices *2024-02-29, version 5.4.0* I’ll gladly change my rating if this issue is resolved. I turned off all cookies, except necessary, then look for save button. The only thing obvious was prominent red colored “Accept all cookies” which i tapped before thinking. Now i can’t turn off the cookies. Really irritating since it’s obvious this was designed to fool people. If it weren’t, i would be able to reverse it all, but do think i can find the same link. Noooo. I loaded this on two ipads. They don’t sync up. i’m at level 32 on one ipad and left 0 on the other where i just downloaded it. BTW, i love the game. I’ve always been reluctant to pay for a game just to get rid of the advertising. Turns out, i enjoy the game much more than i would if i were constantly focusing on the irritating ads. Game is full of challenges which makes it fun to play. I don’t understand the scoring AT ALL. The change in levels is easy to understand - it takes about 800 points and you usually get a hundred or two each time you win. Why then does the game “score” show a completely different number. I’ve had over 30,000 score for a single game. The points for that high of a “Score” - probably 200. ### 1/5 — I don’t like ads *2023-06-01, version 5.4.0* Nuff said ### 1/5 — Doesn’t run alongside VPN *2022-09-22, version 5.4.0* I have to pause my Surfshark VPN client to run the daily challenge. I also own the solitaire game from the same provider and that runs okay alongside my VPN. They know that this is an issue because VPN is included in their troubleshooting information. My usual freecell game functions differently and gives me more options on how I want to play.
