However. We know and appreciate everyone working on Freedar does so in their free time without pay. ### 2/5 — Will not connect over 4g *2023-06-24, version 2.6* This app used to work well and I could use it for identifying any aircraft flying overhead. I’ve muddled my way throughout the App, and it’s so USER FRIENDLY, now I’ve got the hang of it. They are putting up a window saying the latest version 7 is available from Google Play, why do I need to get it from there when I already have the Apple App store. ### 1/5 — Constantly freezing *2021-07-26, version 2.3* Use for more than a couple of minutes and it just freezes. If you close then reopen all the planes are packed together in a big cluster in the middle of southern England and it’s impossible to click on any of the buttons at all. When you are able to use it it you select a plane you then can’t de-select it without selecting another plane. Non military planes used for training purposes still appear in green. You can see multiple aircraft in the sky, but Freedar shows none, civilian or military. Gets stuck on the checking you are human page. ### 1/5 — Worked fine then white screen issue *2023-06-23, version 2.6* The app worked fine for a few months without any issues with the exception of occasional freezing. But from two days ago when I open the app, all I get is a white screen saying that it is verifying the security of my connection, with a cloudfair tick box to prove I’m not a bot. On clicking this it goes through a cycle of assessment and then back to the same screen over and over. I have deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times and have the same result. I’ll keep trying for a day then I’ll delete for good ### 1/5 — Not a happy aircraft spotter... *2023-06-10, version 2.6* Note this review has been updated. I have been using it for a few years and it has been flawless on both my iPhone and iPad. Five stars for the iPhone version. One star for the iPad version. The latest update requires iOS 14.0.x and above. I am unable to access it on my iPad Air2. Since Thursday morning [01/06/2023] I launch it and screen goes white for a second, then returns to the applications screen. I have de-installed it and re-installed it. The App Store prompts me to install the last known compatible version [which I have done] and does the same as above. I have logged an incident with the support team and are looking into it. The iPad version was perfect as you are viewing a bigger display screen. ### 1/5 — App no longer working? *2023-05-07, version 2.4* It seems this app no longer works? I love this App, have used it for years.
