I am so happy we are selling our house and our new mortgage is with a different company. Customer’s want to see their balance but the font is so small that a child with readers in can’t see it. It used to be 3 clicks to find it (terrible UI) but now it’s just so small it’s pointless. Still tries to get you to take out other loans. Shows your home value and FICO score in size 32 don’t but your balance and loan rate in font size 6. Pop-ups will nag the heck out of you. Also tricks you into going paperless. It’s TERRIBLE! Reduced to 1 star. No longer can send a request for help - no “other option”. For this reason, I’ve changed my review from 3 to 5 stars. Thanks, development team, for taking critical user feedback into consideration! ____________ As a user, this app is convenient to have at hand when the mortgage needs to be paid but I’m away from my desktop PC. Making payments is straightforward and quick with little to no issue. That being said, the issues begin at the login screen. There is no face scan ID login feature, nor is there a ‘keep me logged in’ option. Every time the app updates, it automatically logs me out of my account and I’m left fumbling through my ridiculous collection of passwords on the first of every month trying to remember the right one that will log me back in. Sure, the app offers the ability to enable a biometric fingerprint scan option, but nearly all phones of current manufacture in the past 5+ years have had the finger pad removed. It’s an obsolete option at this point. Once I DO manage to log in, I get bombarded with superfluous suggestions to add security to my account (the moot biometric fingerprint scan), sign up for e-statements, or to set up auto-payments - all of which I don’t want and wish I could permanently turn off in the settings. I guess it’s better than being advertised AT by third party companies, but no less annoying having to mash through the ‘NO’ and ‘REMIND ME LATER’ buttons every month. I honestly think the biggest hinderance is the absence of Face ID authentication login. Once this feature gets implemented, (and it should be) it would make less of a headache to simply jump in and make my monthly mortgage payment.
