On average, it took 30 seconds or more to answer the simplest questions, and would struggle for minutes with anything the least bit complex. Even once I engaged it in a conversation, it would not remember what I said, or terribly misunderstood what I said. Even if this was still in beta, it would be pathetic if I were a high school computer teacher I would give him an incomplete because it doesn’t work. ChatGPT and Grok are infinitely better. ### 1/5 — No freedom at all *2025-04-07* FreedomGPT is not it. How are you going to bring something so amazing with the models, but then, when those credits disappear in a flash, you force people to pay for more credits? 😂😂😂 This is why other AI apps also use credits; sure, their models might be trash, but at least they have a credit reset every day. This app just isn’t it, sorry. Personally, I’m not really interested in all the obscenities, but if it can’t pass even a simple request to do something that ChatGPT does, I don’t see the purpose of it. ### 1/5 — Requires an expensive subscription to send even one message. *2025-01-12* App is a scam. They intentionally don't advertise this as paid subscription only. **Developer response:** Thanks for your review. The app is free to use initially. Depending on quantity of questions asked and the AI model selected a purchase might be required. ### 1/5 — False advertising *2025-01-11* As a GPT that advertises ad being above political correctness or wokeness- freedom gpt had all the same guardrails of bing or llama or any of them. It refuses to critique certain groups and relies on pc talking points. I wish I could get my money back. This was supposed to be a tool that anyone could use for anything but the “pen” is censoring the author in this case. False advertising **Developer response:** FreedomGPT let's you easily use any AI that you want in one place. Some of the models are completely censor free and some are not. We want to give users the choice to select the model they want. We will work on clarifying this message. But I try to ask the AI these questions like "make dark humour jokes" and it says things like "knock knock who’s there banana who banana..........orange you glad I didn’t say banana anymore." It can't generate simple commands and acts weird when i ask for dark humour.
