It’s a laudable objective to recycle but the app implementation is shockingly bad. Earlier this week it became impossible to send messages without the app crashing. Have now uninstalled it and sticking with free cycle instead ### 1/5 — Unable to log in on app *2025-06-22, version 3.2.24* Since an update recently - info states site built on 18th June 2025 - it’s impossible to log in to the app. If you try for ‘support’, it takes you to the app you can’t sign into…..! Everything just freezes. If you manage to get your email address entered, then you can’t put in your password. If you choose to login with Facebook- it freezes. I deleted the app and reloaded it. Same. Please sort it out. ### 1/5 — Outstanding *2025-04-07, version 3.2.21* Great too deal with ### 1/5 — Used to be brilliant but is rubbish now *2021-05-14* I have been round and round in circles with this app. I see something someone’s requesting or giving away in my emails. I click the link to respond and it sends me to to sign in page for Freegle. (It used to keep you logged in but it doesn’t now. It also used to take you straight to the item you’d selected from the emails, and again it doesn’t- just the same log in page). I go to sign in, put in my details and the “sign in to Freegle” button doesn’t respond. I’ve requested a new password, in case that would help. I click the link in my email and it takes me back to the sign in page again, no mention of how to reset a password. I have emailed the organisation through the “contact us” option. I believe someone has replied, as I can see a new notification bubble on the app. Except it won’t let me log in to read it. Same story as above. I donated some money towards this website a few months ago as I thought it was great, but I don’t know where my money went as it seems no one has sorted out this constant glitch. I have the latest model of my phone and the most up to date software. The app is up to date as well. I will not be donating any more to this again. **Developer response:** Apologies, we've found that there is an issue with signing in and will work on fixing it. ### 2/5 — It’s not a very good website, but it’s a worse app *2026-01-20, version 100.0.101* The app is essentially a less reliable version of the website. I’ve been using it for over a week and have had multiple red boxes pop up with errors that mean nothing to me. I’ve also had several times when I’ve opened the app and I’ve just been presented with a blank white screen.
