## What is Freelance Dog Walks?

Freelance Dog Walks is for the person who actually holds the leash — the solo walker with a phone in one hand and a full day of dogs. It keeps the working day in one place: the schedule, the walks, the photos, the invoices, and the recap you send when a happy dog goes home.

Everything is free for the first week. After that, one purchase — no subscription — and it's yours for good.

THE WEEK, BEFORE IT HAPPENS
Connect a calendar for each owner — iCloud or Google — and every booked walk lines up in the app. The Walks tab leads with your week: swipe through the days one at a time, and tap a booking to start that walk on the spot — the pencil beside it edits the booking, saving straight back to the calendar. When the next walk starts within the half hour, it wears a Start Now button that begins tracking for the right dog. Home Screen widgets keep the next walk and the week in view without opening the app. Your own appointments can sit beside the walks in quiet gray so you can see your openings, and an eye button tucks them away when you want only the dogs.

THE WALK ITSELF
Start a walk and the app keeps the record: live GPS route, distance, and time, with room for photos, notes, and bio-break details as you go. A Live Activity keeps the walk on your Lock Screen — time and distance at a glance, and Finish Walk is one tap without unlocking your phone. On Apple Watch, start and finish from your wrist.

THE RECAP THEY'LL LOVE
Every walk becomes a tidy recap — route map, photos, notes — ready to text or email to the owner before you've reached the next house.

OWNERS AND DOGS, KEPT STRAIGHT
Contact details live with the people, not retyped onto each dog — add a co-owner (or several) and recaps, texts, and invoices reach the whole household. Home addresses fill themselves from a few typed letters, print on your invoices, and open Apple Maps from the owner's page. Every dog carries what matters mid-walk — breed, birthday, allergies, notes — with the latest stroll up top.

GETTING PAID, SORTED
Bundle finished walks onto a numbered invoice and send it as a PDF or a formatted email — or request payment straight through Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App. Unbilled and overdue amounts stay in view until they're handled.

MAKE IT YOURS
Four themes: warm and candlelit, clean white and near-black, soft green, or a muted indigo for early starts and late finishes. Light and dark stay a separate choice, so any of them works either way — and the widgets follow. Add your business name and it takes over the app's header, leads the signature on your recaps, and heads your invoices.

AT THE DESK AND IN YOUR POCKET
On iPhone and iPad it's built for one hand and a full leash. On the Mac, the dashboard leads with your upcoming walks — a week of agenda tiles, or whole months with a click. Your walks, your dogs and your own details sync privately through iCloud, so everything lives in your own account, not on someone else's server.

Calendar access is optional, and the app only asks when you connect a calendar.

Owners are now households. Add a co-owner — or several — and walk recaps, texts, and invoices reach everyone. If the dog's people ever change, one tap makes a co-owner the primary owner and everything stays put.

Adding a family is one form now: a new owner's page ends with their dog's details (add another, and another), and adding a dog can create its owner right there — one Save for the whole household.
