My sister has cerebral palsy, is non-verbal and lives in supported living. She absolutely loves photography, and FreePrints gave us such a wonderful way of keeping her connected with her family during a time when we couldn’t be together as we normally would. Every month, having her photographs arrive through her door was something she genuinely looked forward to. The joy it brought her was, and still is, immeasurable. Being able to see photographs of family, special moments and memories made her feel included and connected, even when we couldn’t physically be there. What started as a way to stay connected during Covid has become something we’ve continued to do ever since. She still loves receiving her photos every month, and it’s lovely knowing that something as simple as printed photographs can make such a meaningful difference to her life. For us, FreePrints is so much more than a photo-printing service. It has helped us share memories, maintain a connection and bring happiness to someone who means the world to us. I’m incredibly grateful for the joy FreePrints has brought my sister over the years. But , they always seem to delay my parcels. Horrid ### 1/5 — Failed at the one thing it’s supposed to do!!! *2026-09-06, version 4.46.4* I used FreePrints to send photos to family. My latest order was processed on 24 August and handed over to Royal Mail on 25 August. By 6 September, 12 days later, they still hadn’t arrived. Customer service have agreed to reprint them, but the more worrying thing is that I’ve sent several orders through FreePrints and I now don’t even know whether the other orders have actually arrived either. Ultimately, the service has failed at the one thing it exists to do: print photos and get them to the recipient. They suggested me to print in a local sore to print my picture. What’s the used of Rush delivery asking a specific date but didn’t arrived! Arrived 2 days after promised. Only received part refund. As a gesture of goodwill I’d have appreciated a full refund. ### 1/5 — Complaint *2026-08-31* I recently received an order to which the photo quality has been ruined with lines through every photo. These things happen I went to contact customer support for a solution only to be redirected to an AI chatbot. I explained the issue to it, included photos to which I was assured that there was an obvious defect in my order and it gave me the option of a reprint or a refund. I chose reprint and it assured me this will be passed further to an actual person who would process the reprint. Two days pass and I have heard nothing no email or anything on the app so I go back onto the app to the contact section get put through to the AI chatbot again, provide it the order number the complaint was made on as well as confirming email address to be told a complaint had never been filed for this. I have photo evidence that not only has a complaint been logged, but also that there is agreeance that the photo quality is obviously defective and it was being passed along further. I have asked for a customer support contact email to which I have been denied instead being told someone will be in contact (like I was told originally so I’m not trusting that this is true). I now feel stuck that I have spent money on photos that are useless and I’m at a dead end with either getting a reprint or a refund both of which I would accept at this point. The photo quality I received is frustrating enough but when I can’t even get through to rectify the situation and it’s left up to me to chase the issue and not be listened to it is not okay. Integrating AI is one thing but I am disgusted that it’s not even being monitored to ensure it actually works. **Developer response:** Hi Tamara, we are definitely willing to look into this further.
