### 3/5 — You should be able to correct a misreading

*2026-08-09, version 2.13.1*

I started using this last year and I’ve had at least a dozen libres that show glitchy numbers consistently I.e., 4 points below the true reading. There should be a feature where you can correct a misreading so it can get back on track, rather than misleading you into thinking you’re in range when you might’ve spent several hours above range. Other than that, grateful for the technology.

### 2/5 — App needs updating.

*2026-07-26, version 2.13.1*

This is a great device I don’t need to test my self everyday anymore. But it’s very frustrating that the sensor same as last review and issue still not fixed a year later. After 1 hour it drops out of signal for the price we pay for these things that should already be fixed.

### 3/5 — Would love an option to change the scale of the chart on App

*2026-07-09, version 2.13.1*

Would love an option to change the scale of the chart, and zoom in to the range that is most relevant to me, having the scale to the current setting makes my reading look flatter than they are due to the blank space. Also I’ve found that blood readings varied a lot on day 1 vs day 2 vs day 3 before stabilising, which caused a lot of confusion for me. Day 1 had frequent low warnings when I was actually ok. I think it was a calibration challenge.

### 2/5 — Libre sensor

*2026-07-07, version 2.13.1*

The signal keep dropping out.

### 2/5 — This app needs work

*2026-06-21, version 2.13.1*

Low glucose alarm fails to notify you. Constantly disconnects, and is paired with my partners phone.
They get alerts, I don’t. They have to call me to warn me!

### 3/5 — Let me add notes with custom times

*2026-06-20, version 2.13.1*

It drives me up the wall that I cannot add a note for something that has happened in the past! I have a baby! Diabetes! ADHD! I don’t remember to add everything the second I do it and I need to be able to add notes that say when I accurately took my insulin/ate my food etc. not just when I remember in bed at 11pm after I’ve been running around all day. Please add a feature to set a time for notes. Also I wish there was some way to overlap the sensors when the old one runs out and you’re waiting for the new one to be ready. That’s a risky hour, I tell you what.

### 2/5 — Unreliable app

*2026-06-10, version 2.13.1*

I thought that the constant loss of signal was an issue with faulty sensors, but it appears that it is a systemic fault with the app.
Not funny having to repeatedly uninstall and reinstall the app just to make it works correctly.
Not good enough, not reliable enough to go without finger prick testing.

### 2/5 — Live BGL Widget

*2026-06-08, version 2.13.1*

Idk why you guys haven't just added the option to use widgets for this, the fact you need to daisy chain it through other apps to display bgl on your home screen is silly.

I also have an issue with signal loss consistently, I came from a pixel & it was far more consistent.

### 3/5 — The x and y axis are inconsistent

*2026-06-04, version 2.13.1*

I hate the way the "Home" - 8 hour view is both contracted on the x axis and expanded on the y axis in the 24 hour "Daily Graph". Fair enough contracting the x axis but why expand the y axis as well? It defines logic. It looks too radical. The graphs don't relate in an intuitive way. If there is a good reason why isn't it covered in the notes?

### 2/5 — Upgrade

*2026-05-30, version 2.13.1*

App need to upgrade to be more user friendly and give us more options things what we can do. At the moment it's boring

### 2/5 — Keeps disconnecting

*2026-05-27, version 2.13.1*

This has to be one of the worse apps I’ve ever installed. Can’t leave the phone otherwise it keeps disconnecting !

### 3/5 — Signal loss

*2026-05-22, version 2.13.1*

For a couple of sensors I’ve had the sensor not updating until I put my iPhone up to the CGM itself. Of If I just open the app there no update. After I have updated it and closed my phone and then reopen after a short while I have to put the phone up against the sensor to update the readings. This has happen for 2 out of the last 4 sensors I’ve used
I’ve done a LOT of troubleshooting but once it starts to happen I have to put up with it until I change the sensor. The huge drawback is no alarms are available once this issue starts occurring and it’s not continually communicating with the sensor.

### 2/5 — When they work they’re good

*2026-05-18, version 2.13.1*

Multiple issues of not auto scanning. I have to keep deleting the app and reinstalling which removes all of my data!! 3rd time this year!!

### 3/5 — iPad and iWatch

*2026-05-15, version 2.13.1*

Would be good if This app was available across all apple services. As most of the time while working my phone is at my desk yet my watch is always on my wrist

### 1/5 — You dont make the process easy

*2026-03-06, version 2.13.0*

Invites are not sent. We got locked out of the account and forgot password link doesnt work. Customer service cannot be contacted during weekend. Super diasppointed

### 2/5 — Poor linking with phone

*2026-02-21, version 2.13.0*

Does not stay linked to my phone :-(

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Bare minimum data

*2026-08-11, version 2.13.1*

The app is barely useful. Why can’t we zoom into the daily graph to track what our reading was 2 hours ago? It’s hardly worth checking. I don’t even think the readings are accurate either because it says I’m way lower than I actually am. I’m glad this was $15 because it’s pretty bad.

### 1/5 — Poor quality

*2026-06-30, version 2.13.1*

The sensor disconnects something like 8 to 10 times a day completely unreliable. You feel like you are endlessly sinking the app with the Centre.

No, I don’t want you to contact me. No I don’t want your standard reply. I’d just like you to fix the thing.

### 1/5 — App stops scanning

*2026-06-02, version 2.13.1*

Worked fine for the past few years now the app stops scanning and have to manually scan.
Deleted and reinstalled the app and now appears to be working again however have lost all previous data.
Please sort out this issue as it appears to be the same as recorded earlier.

### 1/5 — Connection fail after every rescan

*2026-05-19, version 2.13.1*

LibreLink app has worked fairly well for 12 months but has suddenly experienced a serious fault in that the iPhone app loses connection with the Libre2plus sensor a few minutes after every successful rescan and no longer tracks the sensor data, which is extremely inconvenient, back to the manual finger prick dark ages. Have emailed the support email but no response since a ticket number. Cannot recommend this brand any longer if is not fixed asap.

### 1/5 — Signal loss alarm constantly going off

*2026-05-04, version 2.13.1*

This has happened with two separate sensors in the last 2 months where I will apply the sensor then it constantly disconnects. I reached out to support and the solution was to delete then reinstall the app which is a poor solve considering it deletes all the apps data.

### 1/5 — fail to connect

*2026-05-03, version 2.13.1*

My husband has used this sensor for several years, but recently the app has failed to connect to new sensors twice in a row. Having to request replacements and then wait weeks for delivery is incredibly frustrating. This is a serious issue for us because my husband has a needle phobia and cannot use finger-prick tests to monitor his blood sugar. He relies entirely on this technology, and these delays are unacceptable.

### 1/5 — What a disaster

*2026-04-24, version 2.13.1*

This app is the worst .

Loss signal can’t get data points and they get overwritten anyway.

User unfriendly and the sensor seems to be quite off even allowing for an hour lag time when comparing against blood.

Glad they made a trial and didn’t just try and unload this rubbish at overrated price for its performance .

Life threatening this one is .

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-04-17, version 2.13.1*

Our 4 year old was just diagnosed with diabetes. As if we didn’t have enough to deal with, this horrible app added to our stress and confusion. Unexpected crashes, appalling UI. We are now looking at other CGMs.

### 1/5 — CGM’s won’t connect with iOS 26.4

*2026-03-28, version 2.13.1*

Since iOS 26.4, my CGM dropped off and no matter what I try I can’t get my phone to scan it. Had 4 days left before the CGM was set to expire and now it’s worthless. An expensive waste. Confirmed with Apple that there’s nothing wrong with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. It’s an issue with the freestyle app. Have requested a refund from the company and now waiting to see if they’re willing to do the right thing. If not, I’ll be cancelling my subscription and using a different brand. A company as wealthy as this shouldn’t have these basic clunky app issues, especially when so many people rely on the device for serious health issues.

### 1/5 — Signal loss

*2026-03-27, version 2.13.1*

So sick of signal lost a few times everyday. You really need to get it fixed!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Some accessability issues

*2026-05-20, version 2.13.1*

As a blind user this is a game changer. No need for assistance by sighted person. 1 small thing is the trend arrow doesn’t read direction with voice over on IOS. Also reading graphs isn’t possible so a text base alternative would be good. Not sure yet how to do reports but I’ll figure that out. Any accessability considerations would be really appreciated by the blind community. Thanks.

### 5/5 — Help?

*2026-05-20, version 2.13.1*

This is ground breaking work for diabetics.
I’ve been using this for 3 years but the last 2 months I’ve been having to scan every time I open the app instead of it already being automatically scanned. And after 2 minutes of manually scanning it myself, it notify’s me that the signal is lost.

### 5/5 — I have a request for a feature to be added to the app if possible

*2020-10-12*

This app is great. I use it very often & yes it can be slow to scan but this is usually due to the placement of the phone when scanning.

The only feature that is missing from the app is the option to add a manual blood glucose test add note option. You can only add a manual note to put in insulin delivery, food/carbs, activity but no option to add a manual blood test note. The only way you can do this is to create a note with insulin details, carbs & activity & then in the comment section write the reading in there but when it goes to the lib review page it’s only a note & is often lost & if anything happens to the testing machine it can’t be fixed just for those who don’t down load both phone & meter data to the site.

Great app & recommend it to everyone as the go to product but if the developers could add this as an option it would be pretty much perfect.

Keep up the great work! 😊

**Developer response:** Thanks for the suggestions. We are continuing to improve the app and we will look in to this.

### 4/5 — Needs a “snooze” button on the alarms

*2026-07-20, version 2.13.1*

Works quite well to help monitor my blood glucose BUT it really needs a snooze button on the alarms. Having a 15, 30 & 60 minute alarm snooze would alert me to check again after I have just injected insulin.

### 4/5 — Most USED button is the smallest

*2026-07-13, version 2.13.1*

Can you please increase the size of the SCAN button? It would surely be the most common feature in this app, & needs to be a little more prominent on screen. There have been so many times I’ve pressed it, held the phone straight to my arm waiting for the scan, before finally realising it wasn’t pressed right on to begin with. Frustrating.

Also, it would be great to have the ability to SCROLL back from the home screen graph, allowing us to see earlier time frames of that day. The ‘daily graph’ doesn’t always suit for this, especially if wanting to quickly look at previous days.

Thanks. :-)

### 4/5 — Good! Can you add a Lock Screen Widget?

*2026-02-05, version 2.13.0*

Overall the LibreLink app is pretty good. For convenience though, a Widget for the Lock Screen would be a big improvement.

### 4/5 — Flaw in software

*2025-09-28, version 2.12.1*

Don’t get me wrong, the product is great and has literally saved my life more than once in the past weeks. What I have found is when the software triggers an alarm I.e. low glucose, I have found the sensor / software comms often goes into error. This has two outcomes, firstly you panic and almost overdose on glucose; secondly the sensor starts functioning again after 10 minutes and shows an average which has deleted the recording of the alarm. The recording of the alarms are vital when it comes time for medical reviews and the adjusted average shows the disparity between reality and conceived average.

### 4/5 — Brilliant but a few snags

*2024-01-31*

Love my Libre Sensor 2.  Made a big difference to my glucose controls so thank you! A few minor glitches still need fixing please if you can;
1). When recording a voice message in Msngr or What’s Ap, if the alarm goes off the voice message is either lost in Messenger completely or paused in What's Ap.
2). Alarm red tag gets stuck on and I have to go through several cycles of turning it off before the red tag clears.
Other than that I love the numerous features you provide and I find it very easy to use and use it regularly to review my control methods with my diabetic nurse.
This sensor has taken my diabetes to a whole new level I never thought was obtainable before in my 38 years of being a Type 1 Diabetic. So thank you again!

**Developer response:** Thanks for letting us know. We appreciate the feedback.

### 4/5 — Brilliant functionality, in need of iteration and UX improvement.

*2019-12-28*

This technology is ground breaking for diabetes and pioneering getting this on apple. The app is functional, without getting into nitty gritty complaints the biggest UX issue I have is the graph axis’s have been designed with portrait mode in mind versus how diabetics usually interpret blood sugar graphs, including that from the LibreLink reader. Just because there’s real estate, it doesn’t mean it’s best used for the graph. The vertical axis is WAY over exaggerated and makes your peaks and troughs appear two to three time more severe then they do compared to how one normally views and interprets data or any normal graph layout. This causes an immense amount of anxiety and overreaction when testing using the app.

It’s to the point where I would rather carry the librelink then use the app, even though the integration and technology is excellent. This poor choice of design has had a large negative effect to myself and likely many others. Many overactive hypos or stress because graphs aren’t mean to be designed in portrait.

I founded a User Experience Design agency with a large team that designs for enterprise and understand how hard design can be. Perhaps it’s just me, but I doubt it. I would like your design team to make efforts to validate the graph design issues as I have seen other comments echoing the same issue. Thanks.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the note - we will look in to this.

### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2018-06-11*

The colours that indicate in-range or out-of-range are a surprisingly helpful addition, compared to the reader. The sounds appear to be the same when there is a successful scan or an unsuccessful scan. This should be changed. Maybe these options could be configurable by the user (similar to the reader) so that, as a further option, you could set it to vibrate rather than make a sound. Which I think helps with privacy issues as some people don’t notice a vibrate but definitely notice a ‘beep’. The only real drawback is the inability to share the data between the reader and the app, so I’m trying to remember to scan both every 8 hours, as I find it easier to use the reader in the middle of the night or while driving (when you can’t touch your phone). So glad that Australians can now use this app.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your comment. Try changing the Notifications sound volume in your Settings menu or putting your phone into vibrate mode. If you need further help, please contact us at 1800 801 478. Thank you.
