## What is FreeTender?

FreeTender is an independent, privately run service. It is not a government entity, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government, public body, development bank or UN agency.

Find open tenders, RFPs, RFQs, expressions of interest and grant calls from more than 200 countries in one place, free.

SEARCH EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE
Search by keyword, sector, country, notice type and deadline. FreeTender brings together notices from national procurement portals, development banks, UN agencies and foundations, so you do not have to check dozens of websites every day.

FULL NOTICES, NOT TEASERS
Read the complete notice text, see the deadline and stated value, and open the attached documents. Every notice names its official source and links to the original page, which is always the authoritative version.

MADE FOR YOUR WORK
Choose the sectors, countries and keywords your home screen shows. Keep a shortlist of notices you are preparing bids for. Browse by world map or by funder, such as the World Bank and UN agencies. Read plain-English guides on how public tendering and grant applications work.

ALERTS
Create a free account to get alerts when new notices match your keywords, sectors and countries. Browsing and searching never need an account.

WHERE THE INFORMATION COMES FROM
Notices are taken from official procurement portals and the published notice pages of public bodies and international organisations, including SAM.gov and Grants.gov (United States), Find a Tender and Contracts Finder (United Kingdom), TED (European Union), the Central Public Procurement Portal (India), PNCP (Brazil), eTenders (South Africa), the UN Global Marketplace and World Bank procurement notices. Each notice in the app shows which source it came from, with a link to it.

WHO IT IS FOR
Contractors and suppliers looking for public and private contracts. NGOs and nonprofits looking for grant funding and calls for proposals. Consultants bidding for assignments with UN agencies and development banks.

WHAT THE APP IS NOT
FreeTender is a discovery tool, not an e-procurement system. You cannot submit bids through it, and it cannot register you with any buyer. You apply on the buyer's own portal. Deadlines and documents can change after publication, so always confirm the details on the official source before you bid.
