## What is FreeTimer?

FreeTimer is a study timer and focus timer you start with one button. Work or study, just tap start. That's it.

It tells you when time's up, and after that it doesn't care what you do. Your time is yours. Starting again is one more tap.

Later you can see how much you did, and back up your records to your Google account.

Just give a task a name and a length. Keep the ones you use often, like Math 50 min, English 25 min, right on the home screen. Sort them into groups and see your study log and completions by week, month and year.

Want to alternate focus and rest? Turn on Cycle mode (Pomodoro technique): focus for 25 minutes, take a short break, and take a long break every 4 rounds. You can change the times and the number of rounds. If a distraction pops up, jot it down as a quick note and turn it into a task later.

While the focus timer runs, play focus sounds like rain, forest or café. Extra sounds download only when you need them. You can also show a line of the day on the home screen.

No ads, and every core feature is free. Leaving a tip is optional, only if you feel like it.

• Per-task study & focus timer that starts with one tap
• Cycle mode (Pomodoro technique): automatic focus/break rounds with a summary
• Organize tasks into groups

### 5/5 — 좋아요

*2026-10-05*

타이머가 단순해서 쓰기 편해요. 요리할 때나 집중할 때 잠금화면에서도 남은 시간이 보여서, 폰을 자주 안 열어봐도 돼요.

**Developer response:**

### 1.2.11 — 2026-10-31

• New: Cycle mode (Pomodoro technique). Turn it on in Settings for 25-minute focus rounds, short breaks and a long break every 4 rounds. Jot down distractions as quick notes.
• Today’s quote now sits at the bottom of the home screen so it no longer covers your tasks.
• More reliable sync and other small fixes

### 1.2.10 — 2026-10-14

Fixed long titles overlapping the illustration in some languages, plus small fixes.

### 1.2.9 — 2026-10-09

Better Wavepair integration: pick Wavepair in the focus sound list and it's remembered, starts with your timer, and stops when the timer stops. Each task now remembers its own focus sound and plays it when you start that task. The end-of-session alert is more reliable on the lock screen. Plus bug fixes.

### 1.2.8 — 2026-10-09

New: open Wavepair right from focus sounds — free pro focus sounds tuned to brainwave rhythms that play for the minutes left on your timer. Focus sounds are re-mastered for seamless loops and even volume, plus 7 new ones: fan, pink noise, thunderstorm, crickets at night, keyboard typing, airplane cabin, and ticking clock. Sounds are now grouped by category and named in your language. You can also turn off anonymous usage statistics in Settings.

### 1.2.7 — 2026-10-02

Added crash reporting to help us find and fix bugs faster. No task data is sent, and you can turn it off anytime in Settings. Plus small stability improvements.
