However, most of the ads are 5 minutes long and play every hour. It’s almost impossible to close the ad when it’s do so you are stuck in a loop. You can skip the ads, how? By paying for tokens. What I don't like right now, is there's a glitch in the app that's driving me nuts. I finally started deleting stories that are in the Finished section, & some of them keep going back to the Continued listening section. I keep deleting them and the same ones keeps showing back up. I've checked and there are no updates. The scant amount of time you receive per commercial, in comparison to other free apps with commercials, you need to spend an inordinate amount of time listening to them. I don’t know if you get to keep the books or if you just get to listen and I thought that’s a deal but then I actually read it. It’s 899 a week. So that is 3596 a month that isn’t even close to a deal Audible is I believe 1499+ tax but you actually get to keep the book at least one a month so I do the ads. And that’s fine. The thing I don’t like about the ad is having to close them out at least a half dozen to a dozen times we’re supposed to. I assumed it was gonna be like YouTube you watched anywhere from a 15 to maybe a minute and a half add and then you go about watching the rest of the video but that isn’t what happens you have to actually watch the phone down and run to the bathroom and dad just keeps running you have to play the games interact with the games and if your phone or whatever you have, the app downloaded on goes to sleep there’s a chance when you reopen up your device is gonna error out so you’re gonna have to shut down the app and start again you won’t get credit for even watching. They make it sound like it’s simple but I am very sorry it’s not it’s time-consuming and a little unreasonable on their part.
