## What is Frela?

Know what's in your food before it goes in your cart. Scan a food barcode or photograph an ingredient label with Frela to explore nutrition, additives and processing.

START WITH 5 FREE SCANS PER WEEK
Try Frela on products in your kitchen or on your next grocery trip. No account needed.

UNDERSTAND THE SCORE
When enough product data is available, Frela shows a 0-100 score and a breakdown of the factors behind it: nutrition, additives, processing and organic certification. See what contributes to the result instead of relying on a number alone.

READ BETWEEN THE INGREDIENTS
Explore additive information and E-numbers, review nutrition details, and see the product's processing classification. No barcode? Use a photo of the ingredient label to check the information Frela can read. A complete score may still require nutrition data.

COMPARE YOUR OPTIONS
Browse better-rated products in the same category when suggestions are available. Product coverage and suggestions vary; an alternative may not be stocked in your store. Frela is built with German supermarket shopping in mind and supports English and German.

KEEP TRACK OF YOUR SCANS
Revisit products in your scan history. Frela Pro unlocks unlimited scans, full history and all available alternative suggestions. An optional paid subscription is required for Pro features.

Frela is an information tool, not medical advice. Product information may be incomplete or out of date; always check the packaging.

I’ve been loving Frela! It makes grocery shopping so much easier by letting you scan products and quickly see what’s actually in them.

Frela gives you a better idea of what’s worth putting in your body and what you might want to leave on the shelf.

I especially love it because I don’t have to research every single product myself. It’s simple and informative.
