## What is Frela?

Frela tells you what's really in your food.

Scan a barcode and get a 0-100 score in seconds. No barcode? Photograph the ingredient label instead - Frela reads it and scores it anyway.

AN HONEST SCORE, AND THE REASONS BEHIND IT
Frela's score is built on the official Nutri-Score 2023/2024 tables published by Sante publique France, combined with additive risk and the NOVA ultra-processing classification. Every score shows exactly what raised and lowered it. Nothing is invented: when a product's data is incomplete, Frela says so rather than guessing a flattering number.

WEIGHTED BY WHAT YOU'RE ACTUALLY EATING
A cooking oil shouldn't be judged like a soft drink. Frela sorts products into more than 40 categories and weights each one appropriately.

FIND SOMETHING BETTER
Scanned something disappointing? Frela shows better-scoring products from the same shelf, so you know what to reach for instead.

BUILT FOR GERMAN SHELVES
Products from German supermarkets, including the ones public databases miss.

- Barcode and ingredient-label scanning
- Transparent 0-100 score with a full breakdown
- Additive and ultra-processing detection
- Better alternatives in the same category
- Scan history and daily streak

Frela is an information tool, not medical advice.

frela Pro unlocks unlimited scans, your full scan history, and every better-swap suggestion. The free plan includes 5 scans per week.

I’ve been loving Frela! It makes grocery shopping so much easier by letting you scan products and quickly see what’s actually in them.

Frela gives you a better idea of what’s worth putting in your body and what you might want to leave on the shelf.

I especially love it because I don’t have to research every single product myself. It’s simple and informative.
