It also doesn’t give you a description of the word. If I search the french word for look I get many results but I have no idea if some mean stare or some glance. Certainly helps to fine tune your spoken word. Hope they do not change the app. as they have done with the Spanish version! I was hesitant about getting the full version, but I love it. Links to Word Reference, has flash cards, audible pronunciations, it is must for anyone studying French. I study other languages; I wish they'd make this dictionary for other languages as well. Thanks. Edit: they do have other languages. Second time I used it the the pronunciation “trial period” was over. Now I have to pay for premium product. I tried using some settings and they were not user friendly. I tried to translate one word and it wouldn’t translate, just kept taking me to purchase options. I clicked the pronunciation icon once and it said I had exhausted the trial and had to pay $0.99 for any more. This needs to have more free options or just make it a paid app. In-app purchase options are just too much and get in the way of the simplest of tasks. Not worth it. ### 1/5 — Don’t buy it *2019-04-22* The second you type anything you’re interrupted by ads even after you purchase the dam* thing. Also, their customer service is horrible. I had an issue with my account and their reply was basically that’s not our problem [PERIOD]. Another app I tried worked much better. The dictionary itself is also very unimpressive and oddly free of formatting.
