J’utilise cette application plus de 5 ans, mais le seul truc qui m’énerve c’est le message qui s’affiche à chaque ouverture pour nous suggérer de telecharger l’autre, appli même si c’est déjà fait.

I gave this 3 stars because when I look up a French word it does not tell me the gender. The only way to get the gender of a noun is to search the English word. This is so important and so difficult with the app as it is that I’m going to look for a different dictionary app. If they fix this, it will bring them to 4.5 stars because the pronunciation on some words is also not right at all, but otherwise it would be pretty good.

It always says that there is a newer version of the app and when I go to download it it redirects me to an english turkish dictionary. If you guys fix that then it would be 5/5

It even has the pronunciations (by voice) and hundreds of phrases, words and all. Won’t regret the space this app is gonna be using on your phone because it’s an incredibly useful dictionary.

Dommage que l’icône du drapeau anglais ne soit pas reconduit sur la nouvelle version. Je continue à utiliser l’ancienne version qui va bien aussi.

I purchased the English-French dictionary to have an ad-free experience. When I open the app I get an ad by Bravolol *advertising* that a better app is available. When I download the “better” app and use it, an even more steady flow of ads is again there for English-French, like as if I had never paid.

So I trashed that “better” version.

But then, still, every time that I open my originally purchased app, I get that same nagging alert that wants me to download their “better” app. Heck, the “better” app is WORSE because you cannot remove ads there! 

Dear Bravolol developper, can you please remove your annoying popup (ad) after I have paid to get an ad-free experience?

I have today requested my money back and obtained a refund. I have also reported the issue to Apple via their “Report a problem” page (in the list of purchases) which will flag you, the developer, as violating the rules:

Article 5.6 says: Apps cannot use Push Notifications to send advertising, promotions, or direct marketing of any kind.

You need to upgrade to pro to get some of the basics. It offers very little and has no dictionary to search for words or phrases you want. 

I already know numbers and greetings so this was a disappointment.

How do I suggest a correction? You list "couleur" as masculine: "le couleur." But it is feminine: "la couleur." I would like to know how to make a correction outside reviews, because I would have otherwise given your dictionary 4 stars!

So upset.  In order to continue to use French Dictionnaire, it took me to upgrade.  It erased my entire saved word history that I have worked on for several years. This is a joke. Now it’s a blank slate. How do I get my words back this is ridiculous!!! I have to start all over again this angers me!!!

Très commode. Il y a généralement tous les mots et expressions, même très récents et dans tous les registres, dont on peut avoir besoin. Et de nombreuses phrases. Avec à chaque fois les prononciations américaine et anglaise. 
Un petit bijou.

It is a wonderful dictionary that has more words, and it has many suggested words including expressions which many dictionaries do not have, this dictionary makes it easy to learn English
