I made a mistake. I went to read a book but honestly they didn’t have very simple ones and I had to translate basically everything. I can understand if the app is meant for people with a higher french level but frankly, it should just say that in the description. I think if they added book levels and put some simpler ones there as well as keeping their current ones and sorting them it could be a really helpful app. It would be nice if there was an option where underneath the words you could see what it translated to in English ### 5/5 — Jean 04 *2021-09-21* Great app. ### 4/5 — Endless scrolling *2021-07-06* First I like the app, because I can read and listen to multiple books in French wherever I go. It is helping me improve my French skills. The area of frustration I frequent face is the app does not always open the book I’m reading where I left off. I can’t tap on the chapter and easily navigate to where I was, rather I have to swipe left or right to various pages and scroll almost endlessly seeking the chapter I was on. Taking 15+ minutes to find where I left off is terrible. Can the books be uploaded so chapters can be tapped to navigate to chapter headings? ### 5/5 — French Reading and Audio Books *2019-08-08* I purchased this app today. When I select a book to listen to , it always switches to the concluding episode of the book , it is there fore useless how do I get my money back, or is there someway to make it work correctly . **Developer response:** Hello Thank you for your comment. We had a temporary issue with audio books. It deceptively appeared to have both audio and written books for the same titles in the images for the app. The lack of a free version of this app and the lack of information about it should have kept me from purchasing it!! NEVER again! DO NOT BUY! You can get free French audio books and written books on multiple free apps. Update- I received an email from the developer and decided to update my review. I just read the 4-5 reviews for this app and every single one of them said the same thing. I'm sorry but you are "promoting" the app as a audio book app!! It says so right on the app title/description! I find it alarming that you claim to be promoting something different than what the title clearly says!!! What's more distressing is that you're the developer of several LANGUAGE apps and you don't even seem to know what you're advertising!! TOTAL waste of money!! Update 2020- Are you kidding me?! I get an email from the developer saying they added a "simultaneous book feature".. I update my app and there's only one book?! You added one book?! We don't even get to choose.. it's just a random one from the reading list. Great idea, but one isn't enough after 2-3 years of complaints.
