### 4/5 — Great app with some mistakes.

*2024-10-09*

Great app.
However the main mistake a friend found is the app labeled the Present Perfect as Passé Composé. Just something to watch out for especially when in a class.
Love the audio. The audio is helpful with pronunciation and tenses and can be slowed from 100% to 75%,50% and 25% so to hear each pronunciation of the syllables. There are also other Free and Pro languages for download. English, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Overall, I am satisfied with this app.

### 3/5 — Could be 5 ⭐️

*2024-02-27*

The lack of a search for conjugated verbs is frustrating.

### 4/5 — C’est bien

*2023-06-20*

J’espère que vous ajoutez la langue Arabe

### 3/5 — Falta de verbos

*2020-06-09*

Não são todos os verbos que estão disponíveis nesse aplicativo porém, estão os tempos verbais estão bem separados.

### 4/5 — Audio function lost

*2020-05-26*

This app is extremely useful but rather less so since the audio buttons stopped working.

### 4/5 — Really good... next update

*2019-07-11*

Please add reflexive verbs. For example, se doucher

### 4/5 — HJR

*2019-03-18*

It would be nice to be able to make a “favorites” collection.

### 4/5 — Am I missing something?

*2019-02-24, version 2.5.1*

The product is great but for one thing. The Android version kept a list of the verbs that I studied without me asking for it. It was great for an easy return to the x verbs In which I am interested. The iOS version does not. Bad omission. Please fixit soon.

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2019-02-12*

So helpful and easy to refer to different tenses quickly! I use it every day!

### 4/5 — Good but was much better before recent update

*2019-02-12*

As a linguist, I enjoy Ian Tipton’s apps more than others. I have app for French, Italian, and Portuguese. I wrote to Ian, expressing my dissapointment w new update: 1) Voices used to be the best human voices of native speakers, with wonderful intonation; now voices seem synthetic. 2) Internet wasn’t required before to use app; now it is. The apps are still the better ones in the market, but were much better before. I hope you go back, Ian Tipton. Thanks.

### 4/5 — Error en audio del verbo être

*2019-02-10, version 2.5.1*

Hay un error en el verbo être i no deja escuchar la pronunciación

### 2/5 — Audio disappointment

*2018-11-29*

I got the free version only to find it had no audio pronunciations. Of course, they offer the ad-free version “with audio!” so I just went ahead and sprung for the $0.99 figuring it was like the Italian conjugator of theirs that I have which provides pronunciation of every single word/tense. You can imagine my disappointment to find just a smattering—I counted only 48, they claim 50—of the words pronounced. Pretty useless if you’re a neophyte when it comes to the French language such as I. If you have a working knowledge of French I’m sure it’s fine otherwise.

### 3/5 — Good start

*2018-08-02*

It quite handy for checking verbs you know but limited search ability (only the infinitive and one English translation) limits its usefulness. Ideally you could also search by conjugation and with multiple English correlation eg. ‘must’ and ‘have to’ for devoir

### 3/5 — How does one access the audio?

*2018-07-08*

Says it has the audio but I can’t figure out how to get it.

### 5/5 — Excelente apps

*2017-10-08*

Excelente apps pero solo le falta poner el sonido a todos los verbos para escuchar la pronunciación y será la mejor del mundo

### 4/5 — Love this app

*2017-09-10*

I absolutely love this app and all the other verb reference apps by this creator. The only thing I would say could be better is this: The verb should have a pronunciation. After this I could definitely give 5 stars.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Defective

*2019-11-05*

The app is defective and it seems no one cares.

### 1/5 — Beware! Does not function with latest iOS

*2019-06-11*

Will not play any of the word recordings

### 1/5 — Very bad

*2015-11-13, version 1.8.12*

This app only has a few verbs and could not search with one part of verb, you should write the word exactly, don't buy it

### 1/5 — No es cierto que tenga audio, es todo un fiasco

*2015-09-29, version 1.8.12*

No la compren, no tiene audio, gasté a lo tonto por elegir esta y no otra que si lo tiene desde la versión gratuita. Qué verguenza engañar al cliente así. :(

### 1/5 — Dissappointed

*2015-05-11, version 1.8.12*

One should be able to LISTEN to ALL verb conjugations in French on this app not just a few:-(

### 1/5 — ruim

*2013-03-28*

áudio não funciona.

### 1/5 — Want my money back!! No audio as stated

*2013-03-07, version 1.7.1*

I am a good app customer. this is the first time i purchased a product thats not featured as described--There is no audio feature as stated in its description!!!!

### 2/5 — The search results page is broken!

*2019-11-16*

I would otherwise give it 5 stars. I’m on iOS. After a search, the result page is shown. I get stuck on the results page. It doesn’t show any conjugation nor is there a back button to allow me to go back. I have to remove the app. It wasn’t like this before.

### 2/5 — 700 verbs?

*2019-10-07*

My go-to test to see if there are enough verbs is the verb expulser. Nope. Not good enough. Not sure the pro is really worth it. All I can use is the audio, but I don’t really need that. I found two free apps that include my test verb. Disappointed.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — This is a great app.

*2025-08-20*

This app has everything I need to study French and to get used to speaking the verbs correctly. I love the audio and I really have learnt so much using this. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great App

### 5/5 — Excelente app

### 5/5 — Excellent

### 5/5 — Wonderful!

*2023-07-26*

This site is so well done. Thank you!!

### 5/5 — Detailed and easy to use

*2023-07-10*

An easy to use conjugation aid allowing lookups by either the english or french word.

### 5/5 — French Version

*2023-03-26*

I love all the language apps from this developer!

### 5/5 — Great, and must have, app to help learn French

*2019-10-27*

I find this app very useful in learning french. I have used and tested various apps to learn French - including Memrise, Duolingo, Drops, Rosetta Stone and Busuu - they are all good to help learn French - however if you are really serious about learning any French - you are going to need to know how to conjugate verbs - this is a perfect app to help you learn French verbs - it
Gives you all the tenses and what I really like is it also tells you how to pronounce them. I took French in HS - before the Internet was in common use - and I sure wish I had this app to help me memorize my verbs and especially with the help with pronouncing -
Another point - all other I apps I’ve used to help learn French don’t give you go over every - even basic conjunctions of a verb - so this helps fill in the blanks those apps miss - so it is defiantly must have for learning French

### 5/5 — Great, but...

*2019-06-16*

Love the simplicity of the app but would love it if there were some study tools incorporated in it to better practice and learn the conjugations. I would also love it if I could bookmark the verbs I’m working on to refer back to them instead of always having to type them in.

It’s a great app to help you focus on the verbs and conduct some quick studying. Really like it for the price!

### 5/5 — Brilliant app

*2019-05-01*

Do great to be able to review so many verbs, in different tenses AND with audio. Incredibly helpful !
