I played around with it for awhile and tried some tests and just found it to be a naive first attempt at being a randomized MIDI sequencer. The basis of creating this app as a physics simulation falls short obviously with just one round. Yes, the balls do bounce of as many walls and slip through as many cracks as you like; however, the balls themselves do not mimic true collisions. The float through each other rather than scattering as they should. It would be much more accirate if the balls themselves demonstrate a range between inelastic and elastic scattering. So, while the attempt to create this is commendable, much more work is needed to make it a more realistic physical simulation triggering MIDI notes.
