It’s very clearly trend-led with the feel of threads and tiktok (but the exclusivity to share things with your friends without celebrities, influencers, news, etc.), with that being said even with it being a spam/close friends app, I feel like it lacks genuineness ingenuity with alllll of the ai. It’s borderline slop, but I like the developers so I’m giving it a shot. Would love other ways to customize your profile, I wish the games weren’t ai but again this app is very trendy. My hopes are that as they make money from this launch that they’ll bring the OG lapse back. THAT was innovative. Albeit, unpopular, and I could tell as all of updates were coming out that the app started getting new features until there was nothing they could add to make people download it. It was exactly the refreshing cozy app that social media needs, especially in this generation. I can’t imagine frenzy is an app that will stay very popular for a long time, it’s not really doing anything new. Definitely capcut vibes.
