It’s really not that hard gang, for the love of pete ### 2/5 — Improvements to consider *2025-12-08* Consider these improvements: -do not default the pizza size selection. Make Users select it or they will mistakenly order a small -editing now creates a duplicate of the pizza ingredients. This appears to be a bug -add back the ability to order da works but remove half of an ingredient from the pizza. -don’t force me to enter payment info. It does not give accurate delivery information, and half my orders end up not being recorded so I never get rewards points for them. ### 1/5 — Keeps changing, never gets better *2024-08-25* It’s absurd how many times the Fresh Brothers app is changing. Feels like every time I order a pizza it’s a new version. You would think that with so many updates and so much work going into it, the app should by now be excellent? But no, this is the absurdity of it all, it keeps changing but it’s like it’s stuck in this forever weird beta stage where it never gets improved. It has horrible ui, keeps crashing, doesn’t save your info, navigation makes no sense and it just has so many weird bugs. It’s frustrating! I just want to order pizza, simple and fast, same as last time, but repeat orders rarely ever work, my info always needs to be input again, app needs to login every time, the list goes on. Add that to the fact that it’s increasingly hard to navigate and find what you’re looking for (yes the earlier versions were actually better), then this is a joke. Sorry FB, you can do better. A shame, because your pizzas are excellent! ### 1/5 — New app doesn’t allow half-speciality pizzas *2024-06-17* After nearly ten years, Fresh Brother’s seems to now have a decent app with Apple Pay and which allowed it to bring back its rewards program. However, I can no longer place my regular order in the app because unlike the previous-previous app that was available at the end of 2023, the new app doesn’t let me order a half-specialty pizza (half Margherita and half chicken and mushrooms). Please fix this so I can go back to using your app instead of having to call in my order every time now, waisting your time and mine. I mean if the person taking my order over the phone can enter my order perfectly fine, why shouldn’t I be able to enter the exact same order in your app? ### 1/5 — App lost my account and required marketing opt-in for new one *2024-06-16* I ordered using the app less than a year ago, but when I went to order pizza today I forgot my password and when I tried to reset it, the app told me there was no active account for my email address. When I went to create a new account, the app would not let me go to the next step unless I checked the opt-in options for both email and SMS. I almost gave up but it has been a while since I ordered Fresh Brothers. I likely will not order again. They completely overhauled the app, which could be good, but they completely ruined my account in the process. It couldn’t identify my account but recognized that I had one. It saved my home address as just the ZIP field, but I couldn’t add a new address. It kept asking me to add an address but wouldn’t save it. It’s 2024 yet their app and website are stuck in the mid-90s. I guess it’s Slice House for me next time. ### 2/5 — No half toppings??? *2023-07-15, version 3.0.22* You can’t do a pizza with two different toppings one on each side. Why??? ### 1/5 — Enough Already *2023-07-03, version 3.0.22* Guys: enough already. Time to fix the app. I can’t track my order or easily reorder. Just hire a guy who can fix this mess. ### 2/5 — Worst user interface. *2023-02-10, version 3.0.22* The pizza is a staple in our household for dietary reasons so this isn’t about the food. This app though, is terrible to navigate, and tedious for many reasons. First, it logs me out constantly. I just want to get in and order but it won’t even let me retain the username and password so I have to switch over to Chrome to have auto entry, or enter it manually every time. No ability to search for items means scrolling all the way to the bottom for some food items. I wouldn’t even mind scrolling if the scrolling had momentum to it like most apps/web pages but whoever programmed it has made it so the scroll only goes as far as you swipe the page, so it’s 20 scrolls until you can get through it all. The pop up screen for adding “suggested” extra food items doesn’t allow me to close it before the checkout screen so that just made me have to close the app and lose my order, on top of logging in again. (This happened to me in Dark Mode, which oddly enough is a toggle switch in the app itself.) This is such a great chain of restaurants, but someone please dump a little money into a quality/modern-savvy programmer so you can give your loyal customers a fluid experience. It matters when you’re trying to order on the phone. For all these reasons, we opt to either just call the restaurant or use the website, but don’t neglect the app if you’re going to have it. I’ll rate 2 stars because I can still order food after my thumb workout. ### 1/5 — Ridiculous, shabby way to run a business *2023-01-23, version 3.0.22* This app is as useless, all the comments about functionality and UI are TRUE!! Corporate is really blowing it here. If I were a franchisee I would sue for breach of contract. You've lost another customer-and quit sending me ads that DON'T WORK!! I selected build my own and all toppings extra. I select one of the premade pizzas and I cannot change sauce. Also, can’t use Apple Pay with a coupon. App is slow clunky and not easy to use. When you add to your pizza you can see the difference. Great choices like peso mix sauce, skinny crust-perfect! Salads are creative, fresh and ample. Delivery is HOT. We order frequently. Got excellent pizza and excellent service - so much so I’ve been ordering on payday ever since. The app is very simple, and does not appear to have a bunch of customization but that’s where an attentive staff comes in. Use the special instructions line to add requests. Our location in Santa Monica definitely delivers with accuracy. Love the ability to repeat the previous order since I usually want the same thing. It’s clear when you’ve modified a menu item (like leaving off a topping or having dressing on the side). Both the gluten free and standard pizza crusts are delicious!
