Well, I finally needed to use it again so I could quickly tune my old guitar and impress my girlfriend - yeah, I have both of those, ha. Guess what…? Fretello had turned into another bloated, pricey mess. Also unusable, because I couldn't even make it past the first screen without paying a pricey subscription. Sigh… That’s what I get for ignoring my guitar this long. Deleted and found a simple, free guitar tuner app. **Developer response:** Hey, thanks for sharing this—we get where you’re coming from. Fretello isn’t designed as a standalone tuner app, but as a full learning experience, which is why it requires getting started with the program. That said, we understand how this can feel frustrating if you’re just looking for a quick way to tune your guitar. For that use case, we actually built a separate, free tuner app called Tune, which is focused entirely on quick and simple tuning without any extra steps.
